I bought this for my elderly mother, who uses it mainly for the Internet, Zoom, and writing stories in Word and Publisher. This PC runs nearly as fast as you can think. From power-off, it boots to a login screen in 16s, and faster from sleep. As soon as the login screen appears, it's ready to log in; put in your password and the desktop instantly appears (even with two DisplayPort screens), with startup programs loaded. (My Intel 6900 PC, which was fast for its time, takes much longer.) Word, Excel, even Publisher, load immediately on clicking them. The WiFi reception is also strong (despite no external antennas) and fast. The only downside I can find with this system is that it's not very upgrade-able. The front USB 3.x ports are not at currently-available speeds (USB-A 10Gbps, and its only USB-C is 5Gbps). The four ports in the back are all USB-A 2.0. There is only one internal drive bay, one open X1 PCIe slot (i.e., small, and the wrong orientation for Thunderbolt or USB 3.2 cards), and two RAM slots (which are already filled). Basically, if you want a very fast computer and you don't plan to upgrade it (my mother will be quite happy with this system for years), this is a great system. If you want to keep current with whatever is coming out there, look for something with more open bays and slots, and up-to-date ports.

There are 2 M.2 slots. One has a 1 TB drive in it. The second slot is occupied with the wireless. Very limiting to upgrade. Mine has 2 memory modules in - which is the capacity for the unit. Ininstalled one 3.5 SATA drive. I am unsure if you could get a second one installed although there is cabeling for this. The stand off to put the drives in could have been made better as there is plenty of room for two 3.5 drives in the space allotted. I do not rhink that you could put a 2.5 and a 3.5 in this but i do not have a 2.5 to test this out.

Good i7 CPU. 32GB Ram. 12 gb RTX 3060. You can add a second d drive to the three and a half inch drive Bay by using a three and a half inch adapter for a two and a half inch SSD. There is a power cable and a SATA cable available to attach the second drive! See photos.

Excellent computer. Fast and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Very fast for my music conversions and even games well. 400 watt powers supply is a little concerning, it leaves roughly 10 watts to play with if the CPU and GPU are full throttle.

Almost as soon as I got this computer running, it started to fail. First crash was on night one. By day 5, it was crashing several times per hour. Spent next 3 days, 3 full factory resets, and more than 20 hours with HP troubleshooting with more than two dozen techs - because each time it crashed, I got a new tech. After all that, they said I needed to ship it to them for repair and I'd get it back in 8-10 business days. Lost work time has already surpassed the purchase price.

This item was returned to Best Buy because there promise of next day delivery was false. After canceling, they sent it out anyway. This has single-handedly been the worst consumer experience I’ve ever had. I will NEVER do business with BestBuy again

Very fast. Hit the start button and you’re working seconds later. Graphics, speed and memory are what I was looking for. You’re reading wondering why this one… it’s the best bang for your buck from a good company. This computer has no problems and I’ve had it for maybe 6 months now. It’s reliable and can handle what you need to do, including games that require graphics and ram. Worth the price. No headaches, quality, fast and good ram.

This is a really great desktop, where the focus is on memory, CPU processing speed, and graphics. It has a lot of USB and graphics ports, which is what I was looking for. But does not have built speakers or CD/DVD drives. This was fine with me as I have external peripherals for these functions. Setup was easy. I did find that I have to use the speaker knob for volume control and leave the computer set at about 40% or I was getting a “buzz”.

So far the speed of this computer seems excellent. The size of it is smaller and more compact than my older tower. It's very quiet and the matte finish is nice and subtle. I waited until there was a sale, so am very happy with the price. The setup upon startup was a breeze.

Setting up and transfer was seemless with minimal hiccups. I can't stress enough how much valuuable upgrading to 32 GB of memory. Elevated a very good computer to a great computer. I'm not a gamer but I do give my electronics a workout and this one is ready for it. I highly recommend!

Really fast, and very sleek looking. Easily-accessible USB ports in front. No optical drive, but that is now typical of most PCs and external drives are not expensive. So far (2 weeks), so good. And I was able to get it on sale, so a great buy!

Bought this computer for music production. It is a beast. As a test I opened up a song with over 40 instrument tracks with software eq and effects on them all. It handled it no problem. I then decided to crank down my audio input settings to pretty much as low as they all could go. It handled it with no stutter or any loss of audio quality. These settings were pretty much impossible on my 10 year old i7. Settings this aggressive would literally crash the audio engine of my DAW software. Needless to say, I'm happy with this PC.

Easy to setup. Very fast and very quiet. I think I should have been more picky about the monitor I chose. But I'm happy with the computer.

Fast, reliable, starts up immediately. I need it for photo editing, so I added memory. It's also small and lightweight.

I’ve always bought HP computers, and I’ve always been really happy with them. I’ve had every kind you can think of, and this one really stands out. It’s ridiculously fast, the graphics are amazing (I’m thinking of starting to game some after this purchase), and the keyboard and mouse are so sleek and nice that I decided to abandon my beloved old keyboard and mouse. Overall, I couldn’t be happier.

After using a laptop that was 6 years old, this seems amazingly quick and very user friendly. It’s a very stylish box that sits unobtrusively on the floor which leaves just the monitor and keyboard on my desk. And unlike an ‘all in one’ which I was thinking of getting, it doesn’t overheat and I can add memory et al… ,
