I decided to pay the extra ten bucks to get the HP laser, and I have been so happy I have. It is the cadillac of printer brands and is fast, quiet, so easy to set up a baby could do it (or an older person!) I think it will last beyond my years behind a computer.

Fast printing with great quality. Very easy to setup and use. Not sure about reliability since it hasn't been that long, but so far so good.

I purchased this as the lower end HP laser did not meet my needs. I've been using it now for a few months and do like it. So much so that I have ordered the tray 3 option; 1100 pages without refilling, or 2 sizes of papers in unit all the time. I have given it 4 stars because it has suddenly began to beep loudly. It should not make any noise, and didn't for over 2 months, but now it does. If HP helps me, finally, with finding and correcting the issue, I will up this to 5 stars. In the future a better panel, easier to navigate, would be good, but this is being used in a home. This is my third, fourth purchased but the one before this was returned, and I can see nothing to change me to a different brand.

Great printer, very quiet while printing. Easy to load paper and toner cartridge. easy to setup and use.

This is a really fast printer for the price and size. All of the other printers that I have that are this fast are quite a bit larger in size. I like the fact that it prints on both side of the page, saving paper for things that are printed just to check something. I've setup 3 of these printers and I was NOT able to set it up using the provided print driver (it would work for a couple of days and then stop working). For all 3, I had to go back and re-setup the printer using the Universal Print Driver (download from HP's web site).

A workhorse! Great printer for large volume printing. Dual feed, fast printing, easy setup and connection. Only down fall - cost of the toner cartridges - $350 for high yield

HP M501. Excellent printer. Low print cost per page The print is very clear. 45 pages per minute. The printer is not nearly as well made as my HP 4050N, which is 15 years old, but it cost less than half as much. I will see now long it lasts. I had a problem getting it to work with my IMAC, which is why I bought it. I cannot get drivers for the 4050 N that work with my configuration. The HP M501 manual says there are no appropriate HP drivers for OS 10.13. That is not true. They are available on the HP web site. Make sure to turn off your IMAC OS10 updates. HP does not yet support the most recent versions.

Easy to setup right though the built-in user interface, takes only minutes to get connected on to your network w/o needing to connect it to a computer. Very fast printing too.

As a reseller, this unit is great for my customer. The oversized paper tray is a home run and network setup easy like HP.
