Please explain the toner tank system and how it is different than toner that one finds in other printers.
Answered by HP TeamBasically, a toner tank stays in the printer and you occasionally need to refill it with toner. In that way, it's kind of like the gas tank in a car-it's permanently in there and you just refill it as needed. With other laser printers, the toner cartridge itself can be removed and replaced when it's empty.
This will not be a network printer. Can I still scan to and print from my laptop using a printer cable?
