Probably a Win 11 thing, but, when snoozing or hibernating I can no longer shut off my UPS / surge suppressor after snoozing/hibernating. Same end result as pulling the plug out of the wall on a running computer - everything open/running is closed down. Love that 32GB of RAM, tho! My first! A "Deal of the Day" purchase.

I rate all the high-end components as 5. For the shell itself, it gets a 3. The buttons do not reach outside smoothly. It is challenging to get any of the plugs, USB, or HDMIs to plug in smoothly. That's sad. That's why I gave it a 4.

I am a YouTuber (with virtually no followers LOL) posting my GoPro and DashCam videos and I purchased an excellent commercial video app (named after a famous Renaissance man) and I put the HP and its NVIDIA GPU through it's paces. I've put together some sophisticated special effects videos w/titles, call outs, transitions, etc. I also am learning color grading and the HP continues to perform very well. Rendering times are good and the inplace rendering (while editing) isn't too bad either. If you're a pro videographer or a pro editor, then you probably have enough $$ to get a super juiced up platform.. and probably use a high powered Mac for your work? That's great if you got that $$. For a starting YouTuber / videographer / editor and have a limited budget, this HP desktop is EXCELLENT! Limited # of USB C ports so I had to buy a USB C hub (which is fine). This is also an HP platform. Not an IBM/Lenovo. I've owned HP computers before and this desktop has the same quirks and irritants as all their products have (not as bad as their printer ink issue but same). They include already installed apps that apparently make the system unstable (IMO) and you get weird unexplained reboots sometimes. Nothing explicit or telling in the Windows logs .. if ANYTHING, there may be an odd illegal instruction error somewhere getting logged and the system, reboots. Usually there are no trackable reasons for the reboot. Doesn't happen very often but it reminds me that I bought an HP. I am an experienced retired Windows app and systems developer. And I bought and used a very good HP laptop for my s/w contracting work and it was very good but it had it's quirks. This desktop is a very good value!

It seems to be good hardware, but it comes with Windows 11 (which is in-your-face spyware), and MacAfee (which is a straight up rip off). I ditched Windows, installed Linix Zorin, and I love it!

So far the computer works quite well, however, the key board and mouse that came with it does appear to be of a low end quality. Also the usb receiver seperated when I removed it from computer. I have replaced both with a better quality product. Windows 11 does take a lot of study to learn how to use.

It’s been 10 years since updating my computer, so relearning where everything was has been a challenge. But new computer is fast and color contrast is great. Very satisfied up to this point, never know what happens next.

Its works well. For the hardcores they could pick this apart by saying it has a laptop GPU and CPU. However both the RTX 3050 and AMD Ryzen 7 have great reviews. And still has desktop quality parts such as fans, power cords, built in wireless abilities, and it doesn't run hot. It also has 5 BUILT IN HDMI PORTS for the screens. No adapters needed.

Good computer at a low cost. Graphic are good but can be better. But overall worth the price.

I purchased this computer based on the reviews. I have been using it for approximately 2 months and have enjoyed the ease of use. I do find that simple things like “sound” has been a challenge. There are so many options and this computer did not come with an instruction book.

The computer itself is so much faster than my old Dell. Even the cheapest one Best Buy sells would probably fit that category. I bought an open box unit that was gone over by the Geek Squad and rated as excellent and so far it has been. I had to learn Windows 11 to get everything transfered, but that was not much of a problem. What did happen though, when I went to the HP web site I saw there was a bios upgrade for this box. It was a simple download and I brought it in following HP instructions. After doing so, the computer would not start. I had to fire up the Dell and follow a procedure outlined to bring back the original bios and thankfully it worked. I don't know what went wrong, but I will not try that again. So on Cyber Monday, I stayed up until 12PM that morning to see if this thing was going on sale. Nope, the price stayed the same. About an hour later I checked again and sure enough the price was reduced. That is not what I was told at Best Buy. They said the prices would show at 12:01 on Cyber Monday. That morning, off I went to the store to request a correction. The only way to do it was to cancel my order, go on line and reorder. That is what I did and got the reduced price by about 50 bucks or so. So the only reason for four stars is Best Buy's inability to correct at the store and my having to cancel and reorder the computer. That is something they should look into. The young lady that tried to help me went the extra mile, but was blocked at the cyber gate.
