This 2-in-1 was an excellent upgrade for me, and I felt the price was reasonable. I wanted something less bulky, heavy, and slow than my 4th Gen HP ProBrook. My family have Lenovo Yoga’s, and I liked the 2-in-1 aspect, but I wasn’t a big fan of the price. This was the perfect compromise. I use this laptop for school, work, and entertainment. While it doesn’t have the longest battery, it is sufficient for what I need. I don’t find myself frustrated with it. I was concerned about picking a fast laptop (compared to my old one) and the HP Pavilion has handled my speed needs very well. The display on this laptop is great. Very vivid and clean. Mybonly concern was that on the first day I started using it, the display was flickering rapidly (fairly subtly) after a few hours of use. This issue didn’t go away until the following day (even after multiple powering off/on attempts). However, since then, I’ve had no trouble with the display. I will say the highest brightness setting doesn’t seem extremely bright in daylight, but that is very minor, in my opinion. As a few other reviewers mentioned, the speakers on the bottom of the laptop is a little less than ideal. If I’m playing audio while it rests on my lap, I may have to raise the volume a little more, but the difference is not majorly noticeable. The device was preloaded with S mode, which I had to turn off in order to download Chrome which I use for work. This was a bit of a chore, and Windows does a great job of making it seem that all security will be diminished if you turn it off, but I doubt it’s an issue if you make sure to only download legitimate applications. It’s a good laptop that is just the size, weight, and speed that I need. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is a great laptop for the price. I use it daily and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size and is easy to carry around. Touch screen is very accurate.

We got this when our daughter started college so she wouldn't have to lug around a really heavy, large laptop. She absolutely loves this laptop! It is light-weight and easy to carry in her backpack. She uses the touch screen frequently and it has served her well in college. Definitely recommend!

While it's not a dedicated gaming laptop, it handles everyday tasks and casual gaming admirably.

Great speed for this processor. The ease for setting it up is excellent. Touchscreen is very responsive. The resolution is very crisp and clear. Size and weight is excellent for travel. Design is very sleek. Overall an excellent buy.

Totally enjoying my new laptop because in short : the HP 14" 2-in-1 Touch screen is high quality , durable , versatile & fast with an easy typing keyboard , a variety of ports & useful options/features and a long-lasting battery which satisfy all of MY needs ! I mainly use my laptop for creating online content (website , videos , pics) ; personal business using MS Office ; and online streaming. I use it on average 3 hours each day. (put it on "sleep" after each use and "Shut Down" once a week) LIKEs - Simple/ Easy to set up - High functioning keyboard to type fast - Long lasting battery with low to mid usage - Super fast - Accurate touch screen - Descent camera for posting vids (better than others) - Quality speaker sound - Versatile usage [flip while streaming (movies, TV, vids) or Fold as a "notepad" or Use as a laptop] - Built-In tools (for security; to customize; to create online content) - Bluetooth pairing with my devices - Able to connect my camera, HDMI, micro-memory card, jump drives DISLIKEs : - Screen sits low (yet I understand it's to allow foldability) - Having to exit S-Mode is odd ; why not just give option to enter into S-Mode - Would be great if this fantab laptop came in a variety of colors ; I like options [BTW : I had originally purchased the HP 15" and didn't like the awkwardness of typing off-centered due to the full-number keypad. So I exchanged it for this one (HP 14" 2-in-1 Touch Screen) .] I think this is a GREAT option if you are looking for a solid laptop!

My son used this laptop for his senior year in college and he really like the use of this laptop. Hi powered for college school work, excellent battery life, and very mobile to carry around campus.

I didn't expect that new series of i3 could be so fast, especially with only 8 GB of RAM. It is a huge update to previous computer that had i5 processor 8th gen. It is very slim, but seems to be sturdy and well build. Battery lasts for whole day, my daughter use it for online classes, then homework and finally for entertainment so it is used every day most of the day. She likes touchscreen and tablet mode. So far works great and perfectly fits her needs.

Love this little notebook from HP. It has the ability to be switched to standing, folded or sitting on your desk so it is very versatile and that makes it really convenient. It has a touch screen and it works perfectly so I can bring it anywhere and read, play games or watch a movie with ease. It is so simple to set up an external keyboard and mouse - just plugged in the USB dongle and that was all, it worked automatically, doesn’t get easier than that. I have a couple games that I already had bought that are on CD so I got an external DVD/CD drive and attached it using the second USB port, it recognized the hardware right away, downloaded the software that came with it and within 2 minutes it was working smoothly. The graphics are great, speed is good too. I think it is a great buy and will definitely get my moneys worth.

This order arrived promptly. A very easy start up with easy-to-understand instructions. This laptop is light enough to carry and performs efficiently as well as a flexible tablet. Love the ease of the touch screen feature. I would definitely recommend it to my grandchildren.

I bought this laptop for my husband. This is the best laptop he has ever had.He so much loves it because its exactly what he wanted,Lightweight,good camera,battery life,speed, connectivity, memory space and a very good deal.

The speed is terrific and set-up a breeze. The resolution of the screen does not match my Ipad Pro; however, it is dazzling from all angles. I specifically bought it for the 8 GB of memory and returned one with 4 GB memory from another vendor because it just could not cut Windows 11. Online stores push the 4 GB with lower prices only there’s buffering time. Because I’m used to Apple products, the buffering of Windows OS - 4GB memory is annoying. You won’t be sorry, if you purchase this. There are some apps I prefer on a Windows device, even though I’m an Apple Junkie.

I ordered the 14m-dy1023dx and was a little concerned that Best Buy listed this laptop as an aluminum chassis whereas an HP rep said it was plastic because it had a moulded chassis. Perhaps the HP Rep was commenting on a different Model Number as the reviews here seem to include several model numbers. It appears it is in fact aluminum as it has the feel of metal. For the price which I purchased on sale for $529 plus tax, it's really tough to beat this HP Pavilion. It's a borderline 13" tablet in physical size which I like since this converts to a tablet. One thing to note is the amount of Bloatware on this laptop. My laptop was running at 64c at idle. No matter how much I deleted, it ran hot and the bottom chassis felt uncomfortably hot as well. I was able to cool things down a bit by dropping the CPU Max load from 100% to 60%. It was still rather hot. I decided to start from scratch but thanks to Windows and Intel, we are back to the Windows XP days where you have to load drivers to perform a clean install or you won't see any internal drives listed. I performed a clean Windows install and the laptop appears to run a lot cooler to the touch at idle. It's gotten a little warm downloading updates so I shall see if that's all that's needed or if i'll again have to reduce the Max performance on the CPU. Performance wise, it appears to run really smooth so no complaints. I plan on using this for business and personal finance so I can't comment on gaming performance although YT videos look encouraging with the Intel Xe GPU. The display panel I received has a warm tint to it as if it has a low setting of Night Light enabled. I prefer a cool tint to my display so I may have to get used to this. I may have to fiddle with the color settings in the Intel Xe Control Panel and see if I can apply a little more blue to the profile. It's a 250 Nits which is more than acceptable for indoors but not if you plan on using this outside. Overall it's a good buy. The fit and finish makes this laptop appear to be more expensive than it is especially if you can buy it on sale during Best Buys deals.
