Questions & Answers
Is there an ethernet connection?
Answered by HP TeamNo, this printer does not include an Ethernet port. It supports Wi‑Fi, Wi‑Fi Direct, and USB connectivity for connecting to your devices.
How can I sign up for the 3 years of ink?
Answered by BobMThe ink is included in the box with your purchase. Part of the higher cost of the printer, I suspect. 4 bottles: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and a larger Black. They fill the tanks in the fully. Will they last 3 years? I don't know. Probably depends on your usage.
Can generic ink be used?
Answered by BobMI've read that HP wants you to use their ink. I've also read that aftermarket companies will guarantee their inks to work with the printer. You should probably check out those companies and see what their guarantee is. I don't know what the difference in price is.
How do you add picture paper?
Answered by BobMPaper loads in very easily underneath the output tray. It's suggested that you remove the output tray before trying to load paper or adjust the size (width) of the paper.
In the reviews I consistently read that while this printer is excellent after set-up, getting it set-up is very difficult for customers and Geek Squad alike. Has that now been improved?
Answered by GLENNNNo as of 09/20/2026. Wifi not stable and can only use 2.4ghz.
