Built for dependable operation with a solid rotary feel, it features quick-connect push-in wire termination to help speed up installation—strip the wire and insert into the correct terminal. Electrical rating is 10 A at 120 V AC and 5 A at 250 V AC; note that electric motors can draw much higher current at startup, so it is not recommended for motors with normal full-load running current above 3 A. This is a 4-port switch; if replacing a 6-wire switch commonly found in many fans, wiring conversion may be required—verify terminal mapping before powering on.
