Over-charging protections are put into all of our products as we account for them to be used in various types of facilities. The Venom 2 takes about 6 hours to charge completely if the battery is completely drained. This can also be checked on by looking at the battery indicator light next to the charging port when plugged in. When that light is a solid green color, then the device is fully charged.
