One knows not where to begin with such a stupendous–nay, life-affirming product. In the annals of human technological achievement, there are the incandescent light bulb, the internal combustion engine, robot-assisted brain surgery and now this Insignia 1/4-to-3.5mm Mini Headphone Jack Adapter. Let me recount to you the wonderment and awe I experienced when I brought my purchase home. Giddy with excitement at the prospect of listening to music via my (admittedly antiquated) smaller headphones, I tore the packaging open, heedless of any instructions there might have been on the cardboard backing of the package. I carefully inserted the headphone jack into the adapter and then slowly inserted it into the little hole on my stereo that has the picture of headphones over it – I had broken 17 others by moving too quickly, too carelessly. I had vowed before God Almighty that I would not make the same mistake this time! I trepidatiously turned my stereo on and lo and behold, all the choirs of Heaven could have been singing directly into my ears, so crisp and clean was the sound coming from the cassette of "Out of the Blue" by Electric Light Orchestra playing on my stereo. I had done it. I had successfully used a headphone adapter. I heaved a heavy sigh. Then the bleakness began to seep into my life, the despair. How would I ever be able to top this moment in time? Had my life reached its zenith, the pinnacle of what would be the story of my life? I had to reach deep into the very depths of my soul for the strength to shout to the world, "THIS HEADPHONE JACK ADAPTER SHALL NOT DEFINE MY LIFE!" The darkness retreated and I could see a beacon of hope, of affirmation. I realized that the only way that this experience could become even more transcendent would be if I were to write a ridiculously long and convoluted review on Bestbuy.com, as their repeated emails to me keep requesting, tempting me with offers of an additional 25 Best Buy bonus points to be added to my account for having done so. Now I have. All is right with the world. Also, it's a headphone jack adapter. It works all right. :)

I have ordered adapters before only to experience problems with the connection which is not a lot of fun. These adapters were evidently not quality and no amount of savings can alter the aggravation. This adapter has has fixed my connection trouble and has given me a clear and pleasant result. Thanks for carrying a reliable adapter. I will be viewing Insignia is the future as a first choice in adapters and other related products.

We purchased this adapter to use with our keyboard. We wanted to listen to our music being played with our favorite headphones. The durability of the adapter, and the way and it securely fits with our headphones, was quite surprising. We appreciate the snug fit, and the sound is not impeded because of the adapter.

This is a must have if you have a mix of headphones. I went to several places, including 2 best Buys, but either they were out or couldn't find it in the store. I just added to another Best Buy order to avoid paying shipping on a $4.99 item. Works well, seems well made.

I was looking to connect a cheap set of earphones to a digital keyboard. This adapter has a large plug that fits the earphone jack on the back of my Casio keyboard and my small earphone set plugs in to the small end of the adapter. Perfect! Mission accomplished!

We purchased a nice pair of headphones. The jack is the small type made for a cellphone or similar music source. But, with the adapter, we can now also use the headphones with our stereo A/V amplifier. With one little adapter, it's as if we now have two headphones.

I bought this to plug into my marantz so my son's BT headset could pull a feed off everything that goes through it. There's not much to it, but it makes a solid connection on either end and seems to output very adequate stereo sound. 5 stars because inexpensive yet sturdy.

What actually needs to be said about this product, it's a converter for a headphone jack. If it's the right size and functions at least in a basic way it's well worth the five dollars it costs. And this one is the right size and seems to work quiet well.

The headphone adapter jack works great for my piano. It works on a range of headphones. The quality is good. My Beats and cheaper set of earphones work fine with the adapter. And it's a great price for the product.

Great item. The plug size is standard and allowed me to connect a pair of headphones into my receiver. I could then watch and listen to TV without bothering anyone else with the volume. Works perfectly and was a great price. Best Buy staff new exactly what I was asking for when I walked into the A/V department and had the part I needed. Went to two other stores first thinking they would have one, and not only did the not have one, no one knew what I was looking for. Thank you Best Buy.

Needed a solution to solving the jack for my headphones to fit the standard jack used on amps and the older versions. This adapter/converter did the trick for a mere $5.

The jack adapter works great with our headphones. We are now able to plug the headphones into the front of our receiver. It is a snug fit and the sound quality is great!

This is a great adapter to my receiver... Now I can plug my headphones right in and jam or watch movies as loud as I want to! Nice and small and I still have the great sound quality!

This adapter is fantastic! It slices. It dices. It doubles as a crock pot. It can be used to jump off a dead car battery. I have even personally used this product to plug my headphones into a 1/4 in jack without any assistance or instructions from anyone else! It was really easy to use! I can't believe I waited so long to purchase this life changing product. I also enjoy sarcasm and hiking through the woods.
