This meet my needs perfectly. Now that you can connect usb peripherals to your iPad/iPhone with the lightning to usb adapter, you can connect almost any usb device that you couldn't before but most things require additional power along with your pad/phone's charging cable. The Insignia 4-Port USB powered hub meets that need. I use my iPad for recording music and plug and power a recording interface, keyboard and flash drive (for saving or moving files) into the 4-port hub and keep a port available in case I need to upload a file from my pc or phone. The hub is fast/instantaneous and meets my needs perfectly. The photo on the packaging doesn't show the power cable but it's inside the box. I had to open mine at the store in front of the checkout person before I took it home to make sure because the picture doesn't show the plug and it doesn't mention the plug on the packaging either.

Thanks to this device, I no longer have to feel around the back of my computer to find an open port. Having four ports staring me in the face makes it so much more convenient for charging and plugging in thumb drives and other USB interfacing devices.

This is the handiest little gadget ever. I can keep everything charged, without have to rotate wires. I keep it tucked in the side of my bed and it's out of my way

I purchased this for my Dell Inspiron 17in, all-in-one laptop, which only had one USB 2.0. This is my third USB hub and I was worried about the quality. Unlike previous ones I have had (I cannot remember the name but they were purchased through Amazon) this one is not too lightweight and does not feel flimsy. I plugged it in and worked instantly on my laptop. So far, I have used it to connect, simultaneously, my Microsoft Arc wireless mouse and a large memory Samsung USB drive. I use both intensively on my laptop through this hub with no issues at all. It is such a simple device, there is nothing I can say besides that it is built well and does its job with no hiccups. I plan to get an external blu ray reader or optical drive for my laptop that will be used through this hub. I plan to make an update then. If I forget, feel free to comment here to remind me after a week.

This 4-port hub works, and it works well. I purchased it to work with my MacBook to charge my multiple mobile devices. It's nice to be able to plug in my watch, phone, and ipad all at the same time. This comes with a wall wart power supply as well. this is a nice addition since I do not want to be forced to always charge my devices with my computer out.

I needed extra ports on my work pc and this did the trick. It's not so big where it's bulky either. You can either attach it to the wall outlet without plugging it to pc or you can attach to pc as additional ports. It's very simple to set up.

Simple to use. Was not crazy about it being powered but at the end of the day it still worked great. Keeps devices charging even if the computer is off.

It is not too big, and not too small, and can carry out almost all devices and gadgets I'm using, and is working well as a charger, too. It is saving space and time. I like this.

Easy setup, can be used to add USB ports or with the supplied AC adaptor to charge USB powered devices.

I love love love this 4-port USB hub. Before I found this gem I would have to move everything on my desk to pull out my monitor so I could plug in my USB to whichever item I needed to use at that moment then I had to put everything back so I could finish the project I was working on. It was such a hassle & what a mess I made throughout the day until a Best Buy associate showed me this amazing little gadget. It is so nice now just having to reach across my desk to plug or unplug something.

Perfect solution to enable my kids to use an old portable USB HDD with a WII U. Cheaper then buying a new USB drive. Works flawlessly for what I needed. Very happy.

Had a travel hub, but I needed an affordable POWERED hub for the Raspberry Pi. I didn't need it to be fancy. I went everywhere and couldn't find one. Then went in Best Buy, and looked everywhere twice, and couldn't find one. Finally someone walked out of the back, and asked if I needed help. I told him what I needed, and he took me about five feet away to somewhere I miraculously hadn't looked. For $15 he found exactly what I was looking for. Worked great.

This has been my utmost best purchase in a while. I work from home from time to time, soooooooo My laptop is not enough. I needed a bigger screen and two of them. So I connected my wireless keys and mouse to this hub and connected it to the laptop. Makes life simple and easy and since it is powered, I plugged in my wireless charger for my phone and if needed, an extra USB port. Best purchase for sure.

I bought this specifically because it was externally powered in order to correctly mod my PS1 classic. Works perfectly for that purpose. I've also been using it to charge various devices at the same time and sure enough, it works for that as well. No problems as all. I haven't yet used it on my PC but I'm sure I will at some point. I have 0 issues with the product so far.

I recommend this as a person can never have too many USB ports for items we use daily. This has been worth it and very affordable to not have one or two. USB 2.0 is common and I use it for my USB flash drives and my Yubico physical authentication. It works for all of these without any issues. I would definitely recommend it. It makes life easier as I keep it closer to me on my desk for convenience of use.

Met my needs for USB and price. Can plug into electric outlet to support electric needs of multiple ports.

Works well to expand the number of USB 2.0 ports available on a laptop for a reasonable price. If you have USB 3 ports consider using a faster USB 3 hub. But for older USB 2.0 ports, this is a cost effective way to expand the number of available USB 2.0 devices like printers, mouse, keyboard, etc.

This Product overall has a great size for any desk or top of computer, fits well not in the way of anything and makes connecting and disconnecting your temporary connected devices from your computer easy and convenient. the connection cord is a little short and could be longer so if your going to need it more then 18" from your computer make sure you buy a longer cable to get it where you need it.
