Great sound from this speaker. Easy to connect and keep track of how much charge is left. Being able to charge phone while listening to music is a bonus.

I love this thing, I bicycle a lot and I immediately took this along on a ride and strapped it to my bicycle rack and rode 60 miles with it cranking the whole way. It's not super loud, but it's pretty darn nice. It seems to be pretty rugged as it has so far held up to all the bumps and road vibration I've thrown at it. I have had more fun with this thing.

Very clear sounds and a lot of bass(which I like). Love the fact that I could hear and talk to people normally without yelling or guessing what they said.

The speaker looks great and sounds awesome. The durable is not so great. One accidental drop and the battery bank no longer works and the cover busted off. I should have purchased the accidental warranty.

I purchased the Insignia BRICK 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black for a vacation a few years ago, and I've used it numerous times at hotels and the beach. I've been very impressed with the speaker, and I think it's a great value for the price. I was not expecting this sound quality from this speaker. Connecting to my phone was a breeze, took no more than a couple of minutes to figure out. This was my first time connecting my phone to a Bluetooth speaker. I Have always had nice aftermarket sound systems in my vehicles and have an outdoor sound system wired to a Yamaha receiver so I think I know good sound. For the size of the speaker I am impressed. I have not timed it but a full charge lasts a lot longer than a similar size speaker which I paid more for on amazon. (Aomis). Even better I got it on sale. Only issue is my wife pretty much took over it. Would definitely buy again.

first of all i haven't used high end bluetooth speakers so i don't know how much better sound they produce. This, brick 2, was $20 on bestbuy on sale and i wasn't expecting anything good. Guess i was wrong. This is just one speaker and producing very good sound both for songs and vocals. i also bought lagitech G933 $100 bluetooth over the head headphone which is fine with some issues. This speaker in this price range could be the best available product. Bluethooth conectivity is flawless. one very big difference compare to all other products of same category is battery life. As per manufacturer it may give you 40 hrs battery life which is matchless. Even with heavy load if it gives you half, still its matchless. I highly recommend this speaker. Moreover volume is pretty high and i wasn't expecting it at all. I am using it with my desktop for now.

This is a very good speaker. It sounds good and is fairly loud although it does not have thumping bass. Battery life is unreal. One of the longest lasting that I am aware of at around 40 hours and you can charge devices with it as well. Don't expect sound like the more expensive speakers. I personally would not pay full price but I got it at half price. Overall a very solid speaker.

I use these smaller Bluetooth speakers for a variety of things, and I have several different models (and multiples of several models). I saw the Insignia Brick 2 as a Best Buy Deal of the Day item and figured it wouldn't hurt to buy it and try it out for the price. Thanks to Best Buy's return policy, I could take it back if I didn't like it. Within its sale price range it had a few features that set it apart from similar Bluetooth speakers I have in the same price range (at their regular price). The first is the rugged and waterproof design. I doubt I would ever actually "need" the waterproofing, but it's great to have in the price range. The rugged design is always going to be a plus, and once again it's nice to have something extra like this in a price range way below its normal price. The overall design is smooth and sleek, and the ability to position it horizontally or vertically is nice. One thing about the design that isn't "ideal" to me is the placement of the buttons on the back of the unit. This means it's not going to be as easy to adjust the volume or access the other buttons while listening to the speaker because you'll have to turn it around to get to the buttons as you'll likely have the front of the speaker facing toward you to get the best sound. Another thing that stood out is the long battery life. All the aforementioned stuff is fine and dandy, but how does the thing actually sound. Well, I tried it out today, and it absolutely blows away the other Bluetooth speakers I've been using! This makes sense because the Brick 2's normal price is much higher than the normal price of the other Bluetooth speakers I've been using. The sound is very full and deep. So far I've listened to an Audio Bible cd (connected to an Insignia portable cd player combined with a Bluetooth receiver/transmitter) and an mp3 from a computer using the Bluetooth transmitter. It also sounds really good using the 3.5mm audio cable too. To get the Brick 2's quality (build, sound, etc.) on sale for the lower price range is a no-brainer, Thankfully the Brick 2's are on sale again, so I'm going to grab at least one more. Here's another added bonus. Insignia is Best Buy's store brand, and all Insignia products manufacturer's warranties can be honored in-store at any Best Buy (as long as you can show proof that you purchased it from Best Buy and within the warranty period). The Brick 2 comes with a 1-year warranty, so I can take it back to any Best Buy to exchange it for a new one if there's any problems within a year of the purchase. Go ahead and get a Brick 2 or two (or maybe even three). I think you'll be glad you did. Hope this helps. Thanks. Matthew 7:12

Don’t be fooled buy the price, this is my third insignia Bluetooth speaker with a power back and it’s definitely one of the best that I’ve purchased. The sound quality is outstanding, the battery power is out standing and not to be over looked is it’s ability to charge your phone on the go. I purchased the black for my new kitchen and it looks and sounds great it also has the ability to answer phone calls so if you’re cooking or doing something else you could talk hands-free. This is definitely a good value and a good product and every time you go to Best Buy you only find a few, so some pick one up when you see it.

I actually really love this speaker! The sound is crisp and clear and it also gets really loud! Not much base, but how much base could you expect from a portable speaker ?! The range is great as well as far as the distance capability with the Bluetooth. It also holds the charge for several days. I love this little thing:)

I purchased the speaker for a laptop since I did not want to only use the factory speakers. It really does sound wonderful and will automatically connect with the Bluetooth on any device. Even after I have turn the laptop off, when I turn it on again, the speakers will automatically connect if they are powered on. The battery last for a really long time and also the speaker will turn off if it is not being used in order to save the battery. I like that feature a lot because sometimes I may forget to turn it off. I also use the speaker sometimes for a mobile cell phone device and it sounds just as good as a large-sized soundbar. I am very pleased with the purchase. I have not had any problems when are using this device so far, and I have owned it for about three months.

I have had this unit now for over 3 weeks, using it 4 to 6 hours a day, 5 days a week and it still has over 25% battery life remaining. the sound is good, not stellar, but is loud enough to hear over the engine noise in my delivery truck, something I had issues with the Jawbone Mini Jambox it replaced. The Bluetooth connection with my iPhone XS is rock solid, connects fast and stays connected even when venturing out to deliver packages. My only complaint is the lack of local controls for play/pause and track skip. Only volume controls and a "phone" button that, on the iPhone, just activates Siri are present on the unit and they are on the back, difficult to use without picking the unit up and looking at it. Overall it's a really good speaker.

Wasn’t looking for another wireless speaker but when I saw this on clearance, it couldn’t pass it up. Perfect size and good sound for the price. Battery life is decent and it charges very quick.

I love this speaker, yeah there's better one's but i love this speaker because it has extremely long battery, its affordable, loud enough for me and a perfect size for travel.

Just bought this speaker yesterday. Connected easily with my new desktop computer. Sounds great, good volume. Read that battery life is very good, we will see.

Superb speaker for the price. It sounds great, and the battery life is unreal. The fact that it also doubles as a battery bank is extremely convenient. The only issue I have with it is the material.Being a soft plastic, It attracts fingerprints and shows scratches very easily. This is a very small quirk though, and I still believe for the price this is a 5 star speaker. Definitely Recommend.

I really wasn't expecting much honestly... The world is flooded nowadays with Bluetooth speakers, and most in the price range of what I paid for this (on sale) have, for the lack of a better word, sucked. When I got this one, the first thing I noticed was just how heavy the package was - the speaker is heavy! Hoping that it results in a good build quality?? I do know that there is a battery inside that you can charge other devices via a USB cable so some of the weight may be from the battery too. Why I selected this over the thousands of other choices though was that it actually had an aux input. I carry it to work with me every day, and since I work at different workstations, I never know if the computer I'll be at has speakers or not. If not, all I have to do is plug this into the headphone jack and it's good. It sounds great! Awesome audio quality! And the battery does last quite some time too.... At least two full days of work for me, played at a lower volume. Not sure if I'd pay full price for it, but when it was on sale, I'd say it's a steal for sure.

This little guy puts out a lot of sound, and the charge lasts forever! I have him posted up on the shelf in our small bathroom so that we can jam out while we take our showers, and the humidity hasn't affected the device in any way. We also take it on vacation with us, as it takes up so little space. I also loved that it came in cute colors - the blue matches our bathroom and I love that it blends in. And almost two years later, it's still going strong!
