Loving my new tablet. My older Samsung 10" was comparable. This one works just as well for much less $. A little bit of a learning curve but well worth it! I've had this one for over a month now and haven't had any problems with it so far. I use it everyday!

I've owned this tablet for over a month and am very happy with it so far. I replaced a Google Nexus which seemed to start slowly dying after an update several months ago. This Insignia has a great size, is very fast and has terrific video. My one complaint is that the sound seems off at times but it is clear and can be very loud. For the price I paid ($130), there is nothing more I could want in a tablet.

Good tablet to replace a kindle, much bigger screen and more memory, and fast enough for what I use it for.

I comparison shopped before deciding on this tablet for two people wanting a budget tablet. It has some of the features of a more expensive tablet - HDMI and Android 5.0 software. The speed is decent for a tablet in this price range and it comes with 32 GB storage plus an SD card storage of 32 GD can be added. The picture and sound quality is good. It gives you access to a radio that you can listen with headphones.

This tablet is great for it's price! Instead of 16GB of storage it has 32GB, right on. Screen resolution, is ok, not great. Quad core processor is plenty fast enough. Camera again, is just okay. Style is slightly above average (looks a LOT like a full size iPad). One thing I REALLY like about this is the screen casting works GREAT with a ROKU 2 or 3. As long as both are on the same wifi, just tap the screencast icon from the pull down menu, and voila! You're video and audio are on your TV (pictures, netflix, etc.). All in all, for $150 or less, you can't lose. The average web surfer, email checker will find this as adequate as an iPad. Most people with iPads only use them to surf the web and check email, they could have saved $300-$400 by purchasing this Insignia, just sayin'.

I bought this tablet because my son broke my old one. I was very impressed. Its larger than my old tablet with the same amount of memory, and waaaaay less expensive than my old nexus 7. it fits all of my needs and I have yet to have any issues (I got mine open box)

This was a great alternative to my phone or my laptop. Clear viewing, easy reading, easy setup. I downloaded my favorite apps and I was ready to go. Love the bigger screen to do Excel worksheets check e-mails, surf the web and read my Kindle e-books. Great compact size to carry shopping list and map directions. Price was perfect. Does not heat up like the less expensive notepads.

Durable and easy to use for my 6 year old son. Only problem we have had is that a few times it seems to freeze and not turn on with just the press of the start button. Not sure what happens, it takes a moment then it will turn on.

I researched many tablets including iPad (seriously over priced for what you get ) and the Samsung tablets ( nice features but again, looking for way too much money ) and decided that this tablet was for me. Granted, it doesn't have the backing of the big boy name brands and maybe the processor isn't as aggressive as the others, BUT, the screen is quite crisp, the audio (2 speakers) is very nice and with some downloaded apps ( such as for battery power- the one I DL was just called Battery, lol but works awesome) its just as good as the higher priced ones. I don't use my tablet for taking pics, but the cameras both work very nicely (medium type resolution). I'm a hardcore gamer and I like playing my DragonSoul/The Walking Dead - Road to Survival and they play great!!. The unit is slim, light weight AND the battery is no slouch, lion battery lasts quite sometime even for a gamer like me and the recharge time is fairly impressive. Spend 230-500 on a tablet? i guess if you feel the need to have fancy flip around stuff and altec lanzing speakers or whatever, but for 100 dollars this unit wont let you down. Obviously its android driven AND yes, its just a wifi unit so if you need that 3g/4g connection then this isn't for you at all. Google Play is your friend and ive found plenty of apps to enhance this guy, plus it 10.1! trust me, your eyes will love the screen! Play on peeps!!

I was worried with this purchase due to all the terrible reviews I have read for 'off brand' tablets. However, I did not have Samsung money for a tablet that really is just going to be a toy. I had to return the first one of these that I got because the touch screen did not work at all. This of course amplified my worries. However, this replacement has been nothing short of fantastic. Most noteworthy is the battery life. I have beat this thing up pretty well with streaming and games, and the battery goes for 3 or 4 days before I have to charge it! Pretty amazing to me, since my wife's Galaxy Tab needs charging daily. The screen is clear, but not super high res. The downer for this one is the sound. Get some earbuds or headphones because the speakers blow. Not a problem for me because I use headphones if I am listening to music. The speakers are plenty loud (I keep it at the minimum volume and can hear it fine), but sound quality is something this thing lacks. Performance is better than good, but not blazing. I notice nothing that upsets me when playing games or streaming. Apps load quickly and I don't notice glitching in videos. This tablet is an outstanding alternative to the higher priced name brand tablets. I would highly recommend.

The beautiful color and great size of the screen made this an easy choice. It is affordable. The ease of navigation also allows for a beginner to discover how to 'get around" on a tablet.

Actually the tablet performs nicely. I use the tablet mainly for streaming Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Video. I also do some web surfing and a little game playing. The screen looks good, not great, my first 10 inch. I have been using a Fire HD 8 inch tablet with the same resolution and the smaller screen gives a tighter picture with deeper color saturation. This tablet appears a little washed out in comparison. I purchased this tablet to try a 10 inch and get access to android apps not available on Fire tablets. It is also less than half the cost of a Fire HD 10. The touch response is as good as my 8 inch. The battery charges quickly a gives hours of life. I really only have two negatives about this tablet. The largest negative for me is the sound. I almost returned the tablet because of this as sound is important to me. For me it's like the tablet is in a tin can. It's OK for most TV shows, games, and web surfing, but if music is involved I go to the Fire HD 8; the Fire's sound is really good for a tablet. The second negative is, the cases available for this tablet. I purchased one made just for this tablet and It's just OK. It certainly didn't help the sound. If you want an Android tablet running one of the latest operating systems available at a very reasonable price, this tablet is worth a look.

when my galaxy tab 3 failed, I went in search of a replacement tablet. I didn't really like the price or the new style of the samsung, so i decided to save myself some money and go for the insignia. I had previously bought this brand for my elderly mother (who only plays games) and for each of my college age children. Everyone seemed pleased so I opted to buy myself this brand as well. I love it. there are a few things that were different from my samsung that i had to get used to, but it works just as well and cost lot less. I hope best buy keeps insignia tablets, because it seems they are phasing them out.

I purchased this tablet for my mom who primarily uses this to play games like candy crush or boom beach and go on Facebook. Because of its larger size, she has no issues with not being able to read the letters. She's recently started emailing more as well and this has seriously helped her. I wouldn't really recommend this tablet if you're going to be using it for work or school as its more of a "entertainment" tablet.

All we needed was another devise to access the Internet. We did not want to drop big bucks for an iPad. This tablet is very functional for what we needed. It was a nice bargain at $120. Can't beat that for a tablet with a scree size of 10". The only intermittent (very intermittent) problem I have is at times it does not recognize my finger but that may be the fact that my hands are so dry. This is the second Insignia product we have purchased. You can't beat the function, quality and price on BestBuy's Insignia line.

My first tablet, I am still getting use to a tablet, but so far it's great. Fast and reliable. Makes photo editing a breeze, easier to travel with than my laptop. Top reason for buying. So far this little thing has impressed me.

Purchased as a backup for my Kindle Fire HDX which doesn't want to charge anymore but I have about 2,000 books and tons of music on it all of which I was able to transfer. I don't know if I can transfer the apps I purchased for the Kindle. Nonetheless, I do love the size especially for reading and it is fairly easy and fun to use. The sound is a bit disappointing but overall I think I got a great deal for a 10" 32 GB tablet that will serve me well not to mention the price was great. I am very satisfied.
