Best generic remote for LG, it did c9nnected automatically instead of find the right code and entering them. Would def recommend it, is a BestBuy. LOL.

This LG Remote worked for some days,but it is no longer unfortunately no longer working, the Battery is new. I wonder if I could get a replacement.

I purchased this remote after my dog chewed up the remote that came with my LG TV. Originally, I purchased a "smart TV" remote that was supposed to be universal. It was universal in the sense that it turned my TV on, that's it. So I came to Best Buy to see their options and that's when I found the replacement remote for LG tvs. While it was double the price of the original replacement I bought, it's functionality is ten fold what the other remote did. For starters, there is NO set up. I repeat, NO SET UP. If you own a relatively newer TV you literally pop the batteries in and you're off. No searching, no syncing, no trying multiple codes. Every button works. The only downside is that my original remote came with a designated Netflix button and this one does not. 10/10 would recommend.

The volume button on my original LG remote was starting to not work properly. I saw this remote on the website and talked to an agent that told me this one works with most LG TV. I also talked to a Sales Associate because I was still not sure with it being for a Smart TV & he told me that it should work but I might have to set it up with a code which was included in the directions. Bought it, got home, put batteries in it & turned on the TV with it. Check all the functions and it works just like the original and I didn't need to put in a code.

I don’t have an explanation as to why after having my LG TV for a little over a year (just passed the warranty period) the remote just stopped working. I looked on line and of course the remote to the model I have is no longer available, but I could buy a much more expensive one through LG that would work! Always the case with these companies trying to get your money. I went to Best Buy looking for a universal remote and the salesman pointed me to this one! It wasn’t outrageously priced and it worked perfectly. I didn’t even have to program it.. because it is specifically made for LG TVs! It’s pretty awesome! I’m very happy with it!

Super easy replacement unit. Easy to use easy to set up. Works with quite a few options. And super affordable!

remote paired quickly. works great as a replacement to the original. remote is smaller so its a bit cumbersome but still happy. much cheaper than original replacement

The Insignia Replacement Remote for LG TVs was an excellent purchase. It was easy to program to control an older LG TV which originally came with an LG Magic Remote. The Insignia remote retained all the functionality of the original LG remote in a format that was easy for my elderly Mother to master. It was in every way equal to or superior the the LG remote control which I purchased it to replace.

This replacement remote for LG TVs is very lightweight and similar to the original one, so the only thing that you have to do is to put in it two AAA batteries and that's it! You don't really need to read the instructions for use it and better than this, you don't need to configure it for use it, if you have an LG-TV. It's great!

Lost my LG smart tv remote and found this at Best Buy it was very reasonably priced and no setup was required and best of all It has all the bells and whistles the original remote that came with the TV has at a fraction of the cost the manufacturer wants for a new one ! Very happy with this purchase!!!

Worked immediately. Didn’t have to program anything. It’s a little bigger than the one that came with the tv which was great. It doesn’t get lost as easy. Worked with all the apps and whistles. I was able to enjoy this bad boy for a solid 2 minutes before losing it to my children and wife forever. I think about it in my dreams sometimes. One day we’ll be back together.

I was worried this product would be hard to link to my TV as I’m not that great with electronics. Brought it home. It connected right away. Worked instantly with my TV. Was a lifesaver

This remote required no programming on my part, just put the batteries in and wallah! That was a great selling point for me. It was also much lighter in weight than the OEM remote I was replacing. I am happy with my purchase!

Unlike other universal remotes I’ve had this one works out of the box no programming necessary. It’s just like it’s the remote that came with the TV. I bought an open box item and bought this remote to go with it. Very pleased
