I purchased this with high hopes of bridging the gap between my 1990 Mercedes and current Bluetooth technology. The Bluetooth works by small, rechargeable battery in the cassette unit. I charged up the unit, and it played pretty well. If you jiggle it, so the unit’s contact with the tape playback head is solid, you can get a serviceable sound. After about an hour, the battery died, so no Bluetooth, until it’s recharged. Not very convenient. After about a month, it stopped taking a charge or turning on completely. I threw it away today, as I can no longer return it. Lesson learned.

The Bluetooth Cassette does its job. Honestly, its not bad. The only caveat is that you have to keep up with charging or else it'll die randomly, and plugging it in is not a simple task when driving, so effectively you're left without music until you stop. Otherwise, its a nice gadget. The best thing about it is that I haven't experienced any horror stories with it completely not working, as some other people have. I've had it for over a month now, and I'm still happy with it.

Works great when it works, but battery life is only a couple hours and when around 30% it makes a constant beeping reminder to charge basically making it practically dead at 30% with how unbearable the beeping gets.

I like this device because it does work well for my old factory radio. The sound quality is good and works well with my google pixel phone. I am also able to use google assistant with this adaptor. For people that want to keep using their old factory radios that have a cassette player, this will really surprise you. Hands-free calling works very well with this product as well. I rate it at 4 stars because I wish this product didn't have to be charged.

Sound quality from this is great and the controls are simple and easy to use. Battery life is said to be around 8 hours which leaves a bit to be desired and has me charging it after every drive. I wish it could be USB powered whilst in the cassette player and I hope iSimple develops a USB powered version in the future.

Works well with my 2003 Toyota Tacoma truck. I can listen to my music and make phone calles

Works just fine. The only downfall is you will constantly have a low volume static that plays along with your music

I've had a few of these little Bluetooth gimmicks and this is probably the best one ever. The only reason I give it four stars is because I wish the button was attached to the speaker for the Bluetooth headset over on the side of the tape. I don't know how many times I have bought those Bluetooth radio signal piece of garbage. This is a hundred times better than those

Whoa, Nelly! The iSimple Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit turned my car into a magical unicorn carriage! Installation was faster than a caffeinated hummingbird – I felt like Gandalf with a toolbox! Now, I yell, “Call Mom,” and it’s like talking to a wise-cracking wizard owl! The sound? Clearer than a mermaid’s lullaby – like Beyoncé singing from my cupholder! I even heard Morgan Freeman narrate my dance moves. Get this gizmo and ride into fantasyland!

Best quality so far with these, I've been through many that seem to have one issue or another, usually making them useless to me. First thing I noticed (while the car was parked & engine off) was a definite low volume hum, especially while someone was speaking or between songs. However, once I started driving down the road, I never heard it. The car noise drowned it out. The other issue, as with other models in the past is the left channel seemed weaker than the right one, but definitely not as bad as the others I've had, so for now it's tolerable. Don't know why this is a common issue with Bluetooth adapters, as I have a wired cassette adapter & there's no audio loss whatsoever on either channel. I'd definitely pay more for a higher quality Bluetooth adapter if I knew one existed, but for now, this will have to do.

Bluetooth works great, it sends and receives well and has a good distance. Love the auto shut off when you leave the vehicle, however have to eject the tape in order to re-connect (more of an annoyance then problem). Wish the telephone button would turn it back on. Why 4 instead of 5 stars, sometimes the tape head doesn't always line up with the radio tape head and you get more sound from the right side instead of left and sounds muffled, however if you hit the FF button, or reverse button then it will usually fix itself, it will sometimes kick out of alignment when driving. Might be the cars fault, or the tape, who knows 50/50 possibility, that's why 4 and not 3 stars.

I have a 96 chevy silverado and I have everything original on it. I did not want to purchase an aftermarket stereo to listen to my music through bluetooth. I found this adapter on the best buy website. I immediately went in store to purchase it. This has easy to use instructions. My music plays very clear along with clean voice calls. The control button with microphone is easy to install, Just find a convenient location at your reach.

I got this for my older model VW and it works great. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because this was my second one. The other one stopped working a little bit over a year of having it. That one also worked great until it stopped working. I’m waiting to see how long this one works for. I would recommend it for anyone that has a car with a tape deck though.

Love the push button to call feature. Very clear and easy to hear. Only Negative - you have to eject unit to charge it. It does not charge while in use.

I have an older car with a nice stock stereo but no Bluetooth or auxillary capabilities. It has a six disc cd player and cassette deck so this Bluetooth method really came in handy.

So everything works fine up to the handsfree talk. There is a little cord that comes off the cassette and sticks out of your player so you can push a button to answer calls etc. However, the wire is only about 10 inches long and way to far away for anyone to really hear me. Not nearly as usable as the built in one in my F150. By the way I use this in my 95 corvette. Otherwise, great for music etc.
