A: Unfortunately no. The cable in the picture is used for operating the phone. There is a port on that same side of the cassette that is used for charging the device with a separate cord provided in the set, but to my knowledge it cannot be used while in operation as it would prevent the cassette from entering the tape deck.
A: This is just a cassette itself that you insert into an existing cassette player, making it possible to hear your tunes off your phone through the existing cassette player. it is not a cassette player. Hope that helps.
Q: Are you able to use a cell phone / hands free with this device
A: Your cell phone will work fantastic with this Bluetooth device. It will even turn off music you’re streaming via Bluetooth when you receive a phone call and when you hang up the music will come back on.
A: The cassette player may not like how the adaptor sits when it is inserted and therefore not play correctly. You may benefit from a unit that does not have the cord that protrudes from the side of the adaptor for your cassette player
