Purchased the Ethernet adapter for travel even though I can use wi-fi on my laptop. I was able to get one that also has 3 USB ports and this will be very useful as my laptop never has enough USB ports and this will be very helpful!

I used this with an Insignia tablet which does not provide enough USB power to power a portable external hard drive. I didn't think the USB network adapter and hub together would overload it and I don't think there's any good excuse for it doing so, but they did. It worked in a USB port on my desktop. Another USB gigabit ethernet adapter with the same chip worked on that tablet. If you have sufficient USB port power, it might be a good purchase, however I'd recommend buying a dedicated USB gigabit adapter instead.

I bought this on sale to have a wired connection for my Mac notebooks. It was easy to install the drivers, but I don't see a big difference in speed. The only reason I bought this was for speed, so that's why I gave it a three star rating.

this product seems good for ethernet. But, when I plug in a wireless USB antenna for the keyboard and mouse, it doesn't seem to deliver much range.

Average quality and works okay. The main issue being that it heats up a lot. If you have frequent use, I doubt it will work for longer as overheating may kill the product

I bought this at the same time I bought my new HP Spectre, as it only comes with 1 USB-A port. For some reason, when I hook up my wireless mouse dongle, it just slugs along. I returned this item and went online for a better selection elsewhere.

The product has only one feature, too simple. Designer should consider future applications. No one would like to many components in home. Integrate some functions and provide high quality products will make them more competitive.

The USB 3.0 ports and Ethernet port are not even,working with my 2 in 1 Samgsung Laptop anymore and the 3.0 speed is,not much more different from regular USB 2.0.

This device replaced the built-in Network on the Lenovo 330 laptop. I don't know where or how it ended up.

This was supposed to be an alternative to my built in fire wire port but even though this works it has to be re-installed often which is a pain

Using this with a Logitech Unifying Receiver plugged in is hit or miss. There's quite a bit of lag making the mouse unusable.

Not very easy to use, software installation and instructions were vague, not a plug and play connector for sure

Device quit working 3 weeks after purchase. I'm going to try to return it for another unit.

it is kind of glitchy. it translates a bit slower than i'd like even when plugged into a 3.0 usb

OK Product. Can connect from a computer or a phone.
