This game is amazing. Its is action packed and very fun to play. I would recommend to anyone who loves shooter games similar to Far Cry.

So I have not played any of the previous just cause games, but has a first-time player I'm having a ball with this. There's a lot of action and non-stop engagement. I think the sound is good, the controls are responsive and the graphics are excellent. It has a story, which I won't spoil and I'm still working through it, but if you're looking for a fun game, I think you'll get several hours of fun out of it and I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface, it seems to be that it could be a deeper experience as well I just have not had time to go to that level. If you can get this game or under $25 I would highly recommend it.

I can't quite understand why this game would get anything less than a 9 out of 10. The scope of the map and what you can do in the game by going at any Mission anyway you want with absolute freedom it's something that never gets old. Call of Duty or fortnite or any other restrictive hallway shooter can't hold a candle to Just Cause 4. People try to argue that some missions are repetitive but fail to realize that multiplayer Deathmatch games that are so popular are the most repetitive die respawn, die respawn no brain games that have ever existed. Just Cause series is a breath of fresh air. Just Cause 4 simply takes that same formula of open world freedom and endless possibilities and overhauls it with improved gadgets and physics to make it the best Just Cause to date. I hope I never see the day that games like just cause don't exist due to the masses of millennials calling for unimaginative games with no point where you play with random people just to scream at them with headsets on for a quick fix. For now I'm going to thoroughly enjoy this latest edition of Just Cause and look forward to Just Cause 5.

I really am liking this game. It's nice that the game has been tweaked on a new engine for performance so those issues of sluggish performance found in 3 especially with explosions are largely non-existent now. I like the addition of the balloon tethers to maybe unrealistically lift tanks and enemies, but it makes for some fun new game play mechanics.

Son picked out game for $20. Graphics are good, gameplay at first was decent then game gets pretty hard. Controls aren’t bad - would recommend for $20 price tag, open world. Will give you hours of enjoyable gameplay.

If you like Just Cause games you will love JC4. Runs and looks better than 3 with a much larger map. Fun game if your looking for full out destruction and action I love it. 4.5 is my final review. Setting up hdr is wonky there is no reference pic which makes it hard getting it right.

I was familiar with the other games in this series and was looking forward to getting this one. Best Buy had it at a good price so I jumped at getting it. It's an enjoyable game with lots of action. I'd highly recommend.

The graphics on this game are simply insane. If you played the previous Just Cause games you will love the storyline and graphics of this one. This is definitely for those that are already into this particular series of game. A must buy especially if you can find it for under $25.

I had played just cause 3 and was hoping it would be like that one only much improved graphics and performance. They have done just that, the game is still good and fun and the graphics are better and the performance is much better also.

Just Cause 4 is a great addition to the series. It adds so much more to the tether tool in the game but has a couple of downsides as well. The main game play loop is a lot of fun. Explosions are epic and the Tethering tool is a blast to use. Story is ok, but who is really playing Just Cause for the story? The tether tool has so many more capabilities. I took off one star mainly for this one issue I had with the game. The physics seem off. Cars flip out when adding boosters to the point where it feels like they have no weight and the same goes for a lot of things in the game. Nothing feels like it has weight at times. I miss the weight that Just Cause 3 had. Other than that, it's a blast to play if you like explosions and fooling around with the Tether.

If you like shooting, open worlds, and endless destruction, then this game is for you. Story and characters are acceptable but the main meal here is is the open world and almost unlimited destructabity. Lots of fun to explore and blow stuff up.

Would be better if there was more information regarding map screen detailed areas. Info regarding location goals, objectives to complete, how best to equip and maneuver, best tactics to use, etc.

So I got this one thinking it was going to be just a brain off shooter. But it has a great open world, awesome mechanics, and is a lot of fun. Really enjoying it and its not your generic character so really enjoyable overall.

Last game never caught my interest and had many technical issues. This one seems to play much better and is fun to play. Missions seem to be laid out well and causing destruction is cool.

I really loved Just Cause 2 and played it to completion twice. This one is a bit different and its taking a little while to get used to it. So far its great but not amazing.

I played Just Cause 3 and I can honestly say that that game was much better than the next one that followed it. The map in this game was smaller and story was shorter, the wanted stars were removed, some upgrades to the grappling hook were removed which involved faster movement throughout the world and if you wanted to fly using a mechanized weapon suit you had to purchase it instead of gaining access to it later on in the game like you could in Just Cause 3 and even if you did purchase it the flight mechanics were changed so that you could no longer control the suit to perform tight turns that would, if you experimented enough, allow you to do several fly by’s in a short amount of time. This alone made aerial action incredibly satisfying and since this crucial mechanic in flight was removed in this game it made the aerial action feel too slow and made all of the other downsides in the game too much to ignore. This does mean that the game was bad, there were some new additions to the game such as powerful rockets to the suit and the possibility to upgrade the suits boosters to fly faster for longer, also there were new and very creative ways to blow things up using boosters and balloons, but even with this the game action and aerial movement did feel somewhat handicapped in comparison to it’s predecessor.
