Keychron V1 Max is a compact 75% wireless custom mechanical keyboard with a fully assembled knob, gasket mount, hot-swappable Gateron Jupiter Banana tactile switches, double-shot PBT keycaps, south-facing RGB, QMK and built-in AI Launcher customization, and tri-mode connectivity through 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB-C.
The compact 75% layout keeps the complete function row, arrow keys, and essential navigation controls while leaving more desk space for a mouse or tablet. A fully assembled knob gives quick access to volume or other assigned actions, and the familiar key spacing supports gaming, office work, and everyday typing without a steep adjustment period.
Switch between low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and a detachable USB-C wired connection to match different devices and tasks. The 2.4 GHz mode provides responsive performance for gaming, Bluetooth pairs with up to three computers, tablets, or phones for convenient multitasking, and USB-C supports stable wired use while the keyboard is charging.
The gasket-mounted structure suspends the plate between flexible gasket material to reduce rigid contact between internal components. Combined with a polycarbonate plate and multiple layers of acoustic foam, the design softens bottom-out impact, limits unwanted resonance, and produces a more cushioned, consistent typing feel with a cleaner, more refined sound.
Pre-lubed Gateron Jupiter Banana tactile switches provide a smooth, consistent keystroke and are mounted in hot-swappable sockets. You can hot-swap them with most compatible 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style mechanical switches without soldering, making it easy to explore a different sound, feel or force, service an individual switch, or personalize the board without buying a new keyboard.
Programmable QMK and the built-in AI Launcher web app let you remap keys, create macros, assign shortcuts, program the rotary knob, and adjust RGB lighting in your own language. The open-source QMK foundation supports advanced layouts and workflows, while the Launcher makes configuration easy without requiring you to download any software.
