If you love Kingdom Hearts and its music, this is probably a game fans should consider. If you've never played a Kingdom Hearts game and are simply looking at the rhythm gameplay, then you may find better ones (depending what mechanics appeal to you). But nevertheless, if you enjoy rhythm games in general, it's still worthy of your time. Also, don't expect to get the full story with this game alone. You are better off playing the actual Kingdom Hearts games. This is essentially a game made for fans of the series as a lot of the enjoyment probably comes from nostalgia of the music. There are 143 songs in total, so that's a lot of nostalgia. Luckily, the game performs well on the switch running @ 60FPS practically at 99% of the time. This is important for all rhythm games as there's an emphasis on precision and accuracy. I personally do recommend getting the Switch version as it's perfect for on the go bite-sized gaming sessions and performs just as well as the PS4 version.

Best Game. I am a fan of Kingdom Hearts and I love it’s music. This game is a great rhythm game for those in love with the series. If your new to Kingdom Hearts, this game will show you all that has happened since the first game. The end of this game really sets a clue at what’s to come next. This was a great experience for me.

I love the Kingdom Hearts series but the switch really limits the game and causes very minor lag as well as medium to low quality textures, a good rhythm game and beautiful music.

I love this game because it was about time the Nintendo got a kingdom hearts game again, easy to play on the go and run smooth and looks great. The art on the front is so awesome looks like the manga books. Load times quick and colors are bright and pop right off the screen.

It's a fun rhythm game with some phenomenal music in it, though the offerings from KH3 are honestly a little lacking. This is a game made primarily for existing Kingdom Hearts fans, though; if you're a series newcomer, I'd highly recommend playing the rest of the series before playing this, as it effectively spoils it in its entirety. Also, as with many other Kingdom Hearts spin-offs, most of the actual plot is compressed into the last hour or so; everything else in the game feels like a 7-hour recap episode. If you're just here for more plot grizzles, you'll probably be disappointed.

Great rhythm game, but would only recommend this to Kingdom Hearts fans who like rhythm games. Because there is only 15+ minutes of new story content. If you only care about that and not the rhythm game aspect, watch it on Youtube. Otherwise, highly recommend to fans of Kingdom Hearts and rhythm games. The Switch version here does also have some minor hitches in gameplay, but it doesn't ruin the experience.

For the most part, a solid game. The main story is roughly nine hours long and it’s not particularly difficult, despite completing it on Proud Mode. A few things keep me from giving this game a 5/5, however. - You’re not able to directly connect and play with friends. You can only match up with randoms. - Kairi, despite being on the front of the box, plays a very minor role in the story. - The vast majority of the tracks are using the MIDI versions and not the orchestrated pieces made for KH1 and KH2 HD. - I personally dropped the game once I beat the main story. Kind of a hard sell at $60. Replayability mostly comes from playing online. Thankfully, you can turn off that whole gimmick where you can mess up other player’s gameplay.

Great rhythm game, hopefully leads to more Kingdom Hearts on the switch

This isn’t a kingdom hearts game storyline. It has the characters and everything but it’s mostly just like the side quests of the actual kingdom hearts game so best way to describe it is it’s the guitar hero of kingdom hearts. It’s great to hear the entire sound track but after awhile it’s just too repetitive.

If you love the Kingdom Hearts saga, you will love this game!! Especially for the music. Once you hear it, the nostalgia will hit you and you will reminisce about the older games in the series.

I love Kingdom Hearts but this one does get a little boring for me after a while. I never expected that to happen but sadly it did. It is still a great game and worth purchasing.

This game is perfect for the Nintendo Switch. It's a very casual rhythm game with a storyline woven into it. It was a smart decision making this available for the switch because it's a game you don't need the big screen all the time (but still great that we have that option).

I love that as I progress I have access to so much kingdom hearts music! Kinda nice to have a portable music video player and kingdom hearts music player on my switch!
