Awesome fun game. Wish there was more story content for the price but it’s fun and fleshed out

This game is not a remake/remaster but it is very much a lot of the original game again, in a good way. Some of what is new is great, and some of what is new is not so great. Overall this is one I will play from time to time but I don't love it as much as the original game. The main issue is city trial. Being chaotic was always a major appeal of the mode, and it is by far the most interesting mode for most people they spend the most time in. The problem in this title is the cranked the craziness up to 11 in city trial and it becomes too much to keep up with. Once you get some top speed upgrades you usually start going around the map too fast to properly take everything in and you don't have enough time to make decisions about where to go and what to get as much. The mode turns into a lot more of quick reactions instead of any sort of planning or thinking about what to do. You zoom around and miss so many boxes or power ups that you didn't see until you're past it. This makes the mode a lot less fun for most people cause you don't feel so much in control as you do just being along for the ride. The other two modes are more of the same, and some fun but not significantly better than the original and nothing too stand out from any other racer. One new addition is the rogue like mode added with a story. It's kinda good but very long and a lot of the content is a little underwhelming or really short. A run can take 2 hours but a decent amount of it isn't all that fun. Some part are but for how long a run is the great parts get overshadowed by the boring parts usually. I love the original and I like this game, but it did not overall captivate me as much as I hoped.

Kirby air riders was a very good experience abit short on content and a little bit overpriced but it was a good experience very fun
Kirby Air Riders is a refreshing and fun twist on the kart-racer genre — colorful, fast, and packed with personality. While it’s not your typical Mario Kart clone, it brings its own charm and creative ideas to the table that make it stand out.

As someone who grew up with the GameCube Air Ride since 2015, this game was an absolute treat. To all the returning game modes receiving some major tweaks to make them far more enjoyable than their old school counterparts, to the brand new characters and machines that add extra variety to the game design, to all the very fun features that make the game feel so much more joyful, online play and events, machine customization, to even something as simple as collectible gummies. This was an absolute blast to play. Like Nintendo's other Switch 2 games so far, the price tag is a bit steep. If you're willing to bite the bullet, you MIGHT have a special little game in your hands.

It's great to see a game of this size in this landscape, especially a Nintendo one, spearheaded by an actual creative. We need more people like Sakurai in the gaming industry. Yes, it is a very enjoyable game to play, putting it simply. City Trial is as good as I've heard from the people who've sung its praises for 22 years. Sakurai will probably be forced to make yet another Smash game right after this, but I'm glad he got to take a break from that series and return to his roots in a sense.

Pure Sakurai! Chaotic, idiosyncratic game play that rewards learning the sometimes counter-intuitive streamlined controls.

i really love that nintendo is re-releasing games that were originally available on old systems. i do wish that this was more similar to the original. i do still enjoy playing it regardless though! definitely more fun with friends

The sequel to GameCubes “Kirby Air Ride”. This release improves upon everything from the original while adding endless hours of replay ability.

Never played the original, but this game was still fun. Different modes in the game keep it interesting.

I ran into someone who told me he would consider buying a Nintendo Switch 2 because of Kirby Air Riders. I wouldn’t go that far.

I was initially going to pass on this game…then I played a family member’s copy. It’s really fun. This really does feel like Smash Bros in a racer format.

The game is too easy for my 11 year old. I think he beat the game on two days. The price could be lower. I know that it's a new game on a new system. Just wait foe it to go on sale.

Good game but some times too much going on and not for younger players

Great fun, but maybe for a particular kind of player. Try to test it out before you purchase it if you can.
