This game is fantastic. The story mode is great, and has all sorts of things you can do in each level. There are puzzles throughout, and all are very enjoyable. Co-op is very smooth, it is great for playing with a couple friends. Co-op is not split screen, so it is easy to see where you are in handheld mode. I would highly recommend this, even with the high price tag. I could play this game over and over again.

Fairly easy game. No long tutorial like Zelda games have. It’s more like a Mario game.

Kirby Star Allies for the most part is what you would expect from a Kirby game. It has a fairly easy campaign mode with a good challenge offered by the post game content for those who want it! As with all recent Kirby games, Kirby Star Allies features a rather prominent gimmick. This time around that gimmick is multiplayer, and the entire game is built around it. This means the game is at its best while playing with up to 3 friends, and its a load of fun. Though playing solo at times can often feel a bit held back due to the games focus on multiplayer, but is still pretty fun! My only real gripe with the game is that the game tells you how to solve the already somewhat simple puzzles in the game. Which I found a bit annoying. Over all this game is great for those who enjoy the series, but if you never have enjoyed the Kirby series. Star Allies certainly will not change your mind.

Love the game. My kids love it as well. The graphics are great and so clear. Love that it’s multiplayer. Overall super cute game for kids and family to play.

Awesome game. I cant wait until the next Kirby game comes out.

This game is playable up to four people so you can have fun with your friends, I am enjoying this game right now it's a lot of fun.

The game is overall very good. However, it being a Kirby game there isn't much story or substance, and the game is very easy. The biggest issue though is on the gimmick. The last few kirby games had fun and interesting gimmicks. This time, while having a party of characters of varying enemies and elements is fun and interesting, the puzzles are all very easy and it's very easy to lose Kirby in the action during a boss battle or "enemy room" (where enemies continue to spawn for a while).

This Kirby game is a great game especially after all the free content they added to it. It is old school Kirby with out a huge gimmick and it just looks stunning. It’s a bit easy but what do you expect from Kirby. He is the strongest video game character after all. It’s Fun to play with the kids too.

To enjoy this game you really need to have the right expectations for it. The instructions given throughout the game are straight forward and helpful. Graphically this game looks great and the happy music is pretty good. It is fun to see what different characters' skills are and how they can combine with one another. This game allows players to join in whenever they want then they can jump out of the game and let the main player continue on. The computer is intuitive when you are playing with three other computer controlled characters. They figure stuff out and do help you out along the way. With all of that being said, it is not hard to fully accomplish these levels and beat the bosses. There are a couple of levels that I had to go back into to get the special puzzle piece and push the main button but it isn't too tough to do. This is definitely a kid level difficulty and I wish they would have had an additional harder setting. Even though this game is not very hard, it is fun. I enjoyed playing it due to the cool characters and different decisions that you can make on some of these levels. It is also a great multiplayer game as up to four people can play together. So if you are looking for a fun game that is a break from more challenging games and allows you to have an enjoyable local multiplayer experience then this is for you.

Perfect for my 5yr old and I to play together. Easy to understand, fun characters, good graphics. Sometimes the screen can be a little busy, but my daughter loves it. I love that it's fantasy based and nothing about it looks life like or real world realistic. It's a great family game without gore or violence and that's important to me.

There is almost zero challenge. I was hoping for something like Return to Dreamland, where the game got challenging eventually, but with overpowered combined abilities the game is WAAAAY too easy. This is coming from someone who enjoyed Robobot, Triple Deluxe, and RtD. Only 30 FPS, which is a real bummer considering that the 3DS games run at 60fps. 7/10. Good for kids, it is playable enough for more experianced gamers, but a terribly easy game is also very easy to put down and forget about.

I really adore the game! I have always been a big fan of Kirby and I find him to be adorable so I was super excited when this game was announced. When I purchased it, I was very happy with the gameplay...however... It sucks playing with a friend. I played it with my boyfriend (with him being player one) and me being player two. It was difficult to work together because every time he went ahead of me, I would automatically "transport" to him. I, quite frankly, loved playing it by myself but was annoyed with playing with friends/other people. Overall, this game was pretty easy and enjoyable. It wasn't too hard to beat which I liked. The graphic was amazing, colorful and overall, did its job of keeping you entertained too. It's definitely kid level "hard" but for someone who's 20...it was too easy. I enjoyed it though as it was something to just help you destress and wasn't too hard to leave you frustrated and throwing my Nintendo Switch onto the floor. Overall, it's a wonderful game to play! I was able to finish the whole game in about 2 weeks so I wouldn't purchase it with the pricing right now (unless you have some Best Buy Reward points saved up, then sure).

Kirby games have never really been known to be difficult games and this game is no different. The game play is simplistic, but endearing and scratches the nostalgia itch gamers who grew up with Kirby might have. The game supports multiplayer (up to 4 players) which can make for a fun family gaming experience for gamers of all ages and skills. The simplistic game play may be a turn off for some players if they need to feel challenged, but there are still some completionist challenges that will add some replayability. Nintendo has also been releasing free DLC to keep the life of the game going. Overall, it's a fun and lighthearted game thats great for releasing some after work stress.

The game looks good and lays good. But, the story is weak and the entire game is easy. No way to change to a normal or hard mode. Fans of the series will enjoy a play through but newcomers may be disappointed. Don’t buy for anything more than $30.

I just got the Switch and I've always loved Nintendo games for their co-op modes. I wanted to have an easy to pick up game and fun game I could play with my girlfriend and this was perfect. Many online reviews complained about the game being too easy but with all of the updates, the game now has various challenging modes and more characters. The game is well worth its price now. Once I saw that Best Buy had this on sale, I bought it immediately. Very happy to add this (it was a download though) to my inventory.
