For most of us a microwave is pretty basic. But there are many on the market that have the push button levers in the front that you use to open the door. Then you push the door closed. I appreciate the handle that KitchenAid designed. I often would get my finger nail caught on the body of the microwave if I was not careful pushing the lever that opens the door. It was rare but happened a few times over my life. There is no chance of this happening with my KitchenAid. All the features are all on point. I especially love the sensing function that automatically gauges how long to blast frozen entrees. The end of cycle alarm is very pleasing and unlike any I've heard in the past. Even my guests notice it. :)

This is a beautiful microwave. I bought this to replace my Kenmore OTR microwave that we had for over 26 years. It is roomy and has all the necessary buttons and is very user friendly. I was worried about the gray inside being too dark and it is not. The one I replaced inside was white inside. This now matches my Samsung slide in range and they are beautiful together.

The best microwave I’ve owned. It cooks very well and even. I love how it can detect the size plate or bag of popcorn that is placed in it. It has a very nice modern design and the timer chime is musical.

This is a really nice microwave, and it looks really nice with our slide-in stove. I don't know that the features are any nicer than other microwaves in this price range, but it works well, and we have no regrets about going with KitchenAid. Small point: This might sound a little cheesy, but the timer/alert chimes are really awesome sounding. It's a small detail, but hey, it's something you have to hear a lot.

Works pretty quietly with no complaints. Easy to clean and is a great size. Handle feels very premium and overall unit feels like it will last for years.

We love the non annoying sound signal when the food is done. Cooks all food thoroughly. The one downside is after a year and a half, the Microwave has developed an operating problem that requires service. It is hard to find and buy a product that has any kind of longevity before it needs a repairman. Most unfortunately. We thought the Kitchenaid brand name would escape any early product failures we've found in other brands. I guess no product is immune to failure within the first few years of service.

Pleased with the purchase. I was able to put it in by myself with instructions provided. It has performed well. It fits in well with current appliances. The feel of the door and the overall look shows the quality which was also reflected in the price. I think the saying goes you get what you pay for.

Installation was a snap and I was cooking in no time! The unit was very quiet and cooked evenly. I've used the defrost cycle several times and it works absolutely perfectly!! Matches my other appliances very handsomely as well :)

It’s the best buy for us. Our decision to get this brand of microwave is one of the best decisions we have taken lately. The size fits perfectly, the fan does not make as much noise as the one we used to have. Strongly recommended.

So far doing great. Easy to use. For the install not a fan of the template for the holes to put it up being on the box itself which you uave to cut out exactly.

I bought this microwave because it was nice looking and was the right size and brand for my kitchen. The only complaint I have is that the fan that is supposed to suction the steam when cooking, is too soft. All the other microwaves I have had in the past suction all the steam. This one only suctions a little bit and the rest of the steam goes over the microwave and causes much condensation on the door and cabinets above it. That defeats the purpose of the fan option. If I had known this, I would never have purchased this one.

This is an incredible microwave compared to my old Kenmore. Very easy to set to heat up almost anything. I have not over heated or "blew up", you know what can happen in a microwave., yet!!

I bought this to replace a over-the-range microwave in our new condo that was not working. Taking the old unit out and preparing the site for the new unit was straight forward with the templates provided. Hanging it was also pretty simple. The unit looks great and functions well. It is a bit taller than the previous unit so it makes the range a bit harder to see at my height (6'4"). That is no fault of the unit, I should have plotted out the dimensions before buying. People have been asking what the inside looks like so I took a picture. It is a specked metallic grey.
