The Lectron Nexus Level 2 EV Charger provides fast and reliable home charging for electric vehicles equipped with a J1772 charging port. Its 240V hardwired connection delivers up to 48A and 11.5kW of charging power, adding up to 46 miles of range per hour depending on the vehicle. Designed for permanent indoor or outdoor installation, the charger features an IP66-rated enclosure that helps protect it from rain, snow, dust, and heat. The included 23-foot charging cable provides convenient access to vehicles parked in garages, driveways, or adjacent parking spaces. The Nexus is compatible with J1772 electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Tesla vehicles can also be charged when used with a compatible J1772-to-NACS adapter, sold separately. For added safety, the charger includes protection against overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, leakage current, and ground faults. It is ETL Listed to applicable UL 2594, UL 2231, and UL 2251 safety standards and is also ENERGY STAR certified and FCC compliant. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is required.
