Bought in 2023, worked fine, but now the right hinge has an issue that is causing the molding to pop out, looks like its a common issue with this model.

The Chromebook functions well, but its plastic casing is flimsy and breaks down quickly. Seven months after purchase, one of the bottom corners started to separate from the screen near a hinge, making a cracking sound when opening or closing and preventing the Chromebook from closing completely without excessive force. The warranty does not cover this issue because it is "physical damage," even though it is a manufacturing flaw. Three months later, the bottom corner at the other hinge is starting to separate in the same way. Tape works as a temporary solution, but it is imperfect and frustrating since this Chromebook is less than a year old. I would not recommend this product.

Bought this chromebook in February of 2024. Was great for the first 10 months or so. After that it would periodically freeze up, I would only have 2-4 tabs open and it would freeze up. The fan would also run a lot and loud. I did a powerwash a couple of times, the problems still persisted. I learned to live with that issue, now another issue has popped up. Now when you type the e or c key you get a series of letters and not just the c or the e. I researched this and others have had the same issue with varying models of chromebooks. I tried everything suggested, including multiple powewashes, changing the keyboard languge, trying a full recovery, Nothing has worked, I give up. Looking to buy another model now.

Really great computer for the price. Powerful screen and snappy processing. Best Buy took way to long to deliver this though. One never made it to me and I still have not received my money for the return. I had to order it a second time and have it picked up in store which was also not very simple. Recommend the product but you should probably buy it somewhere else.

My last Chromebook lasted me a good 7 years and never gave me problems, but 2 years on, it just straight up won't turn on. I've attempted every kind of troubleshooting just before an actual repair, but for what it is, I'd rather just buy a new one. Performance while it was alive was fine, but it packed lots of functionality. Basically only useful for homework and watch YouTube while you eat.

This is the second Lenovo product I have purchased. The first one, a true laptop only lasted about four years, about average, I guess. Well, this one didn't last one day until I returned it. Setup was easy using existing Google accounts, but beyond that, the hardware issues were already apparent. The bluetooth would say it was connected, or sometimes wouldn't even find the device. When it was "connected" the sounds would continue to come out of the unit's built-speakers. I tried the powerwash feature to wipe it and start all over, but no luck. Other consumers on Amazon complained about bad keyboards, and looking back at my one day's ownership, mine did exhibit some lack of response when hitting the keys. Probably a good thing that the bluetooth didn't work from the get-go so I could promptly get rid of the thing, I would not recommend this product, or for that matter, any Lenovo products.

As far as a computer it's amazing I love it. The fold will break and there isn't a way around it. I left apple because I was over them, but my first computer away from them breaking is a tough look for this brand

Touchscreen does not work very well at all. I would not purchase this computer again just for that reason.

I really wanted to like this Chromebook but it has one big problem. Very often when opening the lid it gets stuck in tablet mode, rendering the keyboard and tracker inoperable. You have to restart it while holding a certain key to restart the hardware per Google, but it is too much of a pain to have to do that 75 percent of the time just to get past the lockscreen. I'm really handy with my gadgets and did lots of browsing in forums and assistant this is an issue that was very apparent in 2020. But for some reasons with this model the bug has come back. Lenovo support is useless.

I really liked this Chromebook until the hinge broke. Many others have experienced this issue. It happened with light use just a month after purchase. Lenovo was able to repair the hinge, but it now pops and creaks when opening and closing the laptop. I tend to just leave it open which defeats portability, but I do not trust that the repair is going to hold.

Hinge broke (poor quality). Battery life is not good. Screen is basically unviewable outside in both direct and indirect sun. I won't buy another one.

It worked fine for 1 year and 3 days before the hinges broke when opening. Very bad design flaw. Upon researching after the fact it appears to be a common problem with this model that I did not know before.

I hate this computer. It is always lagging, the track pad skips frequently, my current issue is with the browser not allowing me to close out of tabs and it continuously freezes I cannot get anything done, sometimes it will shut off and I have to keep pressing the backspace button to get it to turn back on, my printer does not connect with it, you cannot use adobe illustrator with the particular chromebook.

The computer itself is finebut , fast, battery life is bad. There is a MAJOR design flaw with the screen hinges. They are poorly secured and pop out so the screen does not attach to the compter, making it impossible to close and difficult to adjust to line of sight. I returned the first one, but the replacement did the exact same thing. Absolute junk, cannot recommend.

Works well when it works but I guess I got a bad one cuz its glitchy as heck. The touch pad, the touch screen, etc to the point that its not usable unless I restart it. That happens every day or so.

I was looking for something that would allow me to more-so use it as a tablet, but I liked that this also had the keyboard built in so I could use it as a laptop. Since I was planning to mostly use it for school as a tablet for notes and doing questions, I didn't need any crazy features. Once I got it, the key immediately broke to the point where they completely replaced it, which I was very appreciative of. Once I started using it as a tablet, I noticed that it would read my hand and the pen, which would just end with me making the screen bigger/ smaller due to it trying to read both my hand and the stylus. I can't find anything online that'll allow me to turn on/ off palm recognition, which I find annoying. There are also not many options to find a hard shell to protect the keyboard when in tablet mode, which is another of my concerns since a key broke so quickly on me. If I was able to turn off palm recognition this Chromebook would honestly be perfect. But since I'm not able to touch the screen at all with my hand when writing, I find it annoying and pointless to use as a study object.

This laptop always delays numbers, backspace and slow on typing, Repeats what you don't want it to! Skips pages while your typing and need to start all over!
