The design is sleek, and elegant. Performance wise, this laptop lacks in its price range, a laptop with an i3 about $350 (nearly same price) will perform likely 3 times better than this. Overall, good budget laptop. However, it has oppirtounity to perform better. If you want a school device, just look at a laptop with an i3 (nearly same price).

I wouldn't say this is the worst computer out there, it's good if you plan on using it for one thing and one thing -only- because I bought this to use Zoom and the occasional web browser. But even with that, it lags when I'm on a video conference call and I'm trying to pull up anything else. I don't like using the Microsoft edge web browser so I always download google chrome but no matter how many times I'd click on the darn widget, nothing would open! They keyboard and the on/off button feel and sound super cheap but I don't buy a laptop for the aesthetics, I care more about functionality and for the price I paid I'm not exactly shocked, but it could be better! So... do I recommend? Unless you're on a tight tight budget and cannot afford the extra 1, 2 or 300$ for a better, faster laptop, this is a decent, not too bad choice.

This entry-level, Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14 Laptop, model number 81WH004LUS, ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. You will not be able to download and install any APPs like Google Chrome Browser, that are not available at the Microsoft APP Store, unless you switch out of S-Mode to Windows 10 Home. Just needed a basic PC laptop as a backup to do school work. So far it works pretty well. If you're looking for something to do basic things, this computer could be for you. It's also pretty lightweight!

This Lenovo idea pad has been great for my 10 year old grandson. System is very easy to use and it has enough memory for anything he has to perform for school. Very light and thin laptop easy for my grandson to carry around. The System has very good graphics and he enjoys playing games on his computer. This computer works well outdoors even on our camping or fishing trips.

The laptop was Certified Open Box. It doesn’t connect to the internet and the Technical Support closes at 6 pm. After the first technician, the rest have been incompetent.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues connecting your Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14 Laptop to your internet service. Try resetting this computer back to its original factory settings. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right in between the headphone jack and the SD Card Slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.
