It’s my first time using Chromebook and it did not disappoint me. Duet 3 is pretty light weight and always prepared on the go mode. The most fantastic part is battery performance. About 7-8 hours use after less than 2 hrs charging. The interface is very user-friendly. Easy to view texts from email and daily news. No problem to perform daily tasks. The resolution is 2000*1200, made it perfect while watching Netflix or YouTube. It is also pretty smooth to play light game like Super Mario. The speed runs smooth if you do not open to many windows at the same time. The drawback is that: the volume is a bit weak and small. I use Bluetooth bitty boomer speaker to increase the volume and it worked great. The touch screen is quite sensitive; however, I prefer mouse so I connect Bluetooth mouse by using USC to USB adapter. In fact, I bought the duet 5 at the first time to see how it worked. However, it didn’t meet my expectations. The tablet too heavy and the interface is weird. You have to zoom in all the time to read daily email or online daily news. Fail to perform my daily tasks! The only benefit for duet 5 is outstanding visual quality and sound for using OLED screen. So I returned it at last and buy Duet 3 instead! I never regretted buying Duet 3. I am very happy to make the right purchase.

Is very portable, the mouse is not easy to use. Sometimes slow

The case that comes with this tablet does not facilitate the screen standing upright so that you can type. The tablet functionality is standard and provides the necessary speed and applications for basic processing.

Solid laptop replacement with just enough power to punch above its weight. Pros: - Beautiful high pixel density screen - Great included kickstand case and keyboard/trackpad - Lightweight, great looking device - Decent sound and great to use as a standalone media consumption device (using kickstand or holding it, it's a great size for streaming video - balancing something you'd be willing to hold for a while with good enough screen size) - Small bezels make it look sleek like an iPad for far less when you add up the overall package. - Battery life is solid - Good as an on the go productivity device... Even plugs into external monitors via USB-C up to 1440p which is awesome Cons: - Definitely not something you can use on a lap as it's not wide enough to rest on both knees. A bit of a balancing act if you try that Overall: - Good buy! It's a must buy when it goes on sale

Very nice Chrome package. Display is excellent, the keyboard works really well and the processor is fast enough. Very portable Chromebook. Doesn't look cheap like a lot of Chromebooks in this price range.

I got the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook for managing inventory in my wife's store, it's been a solid performer. The touchscreen is bright and crisp, making it easy to work with details. The Chrome OS is smooth, and the 128GB of storage offers enough space for our apps and data. The 2-in-1 design is nice for switching from tablet to laptop is great when moving around the store. What was impressive is how much my UT employees love it. After seeing it in action, several of them bought their own, which says a lot about its usability and value. I'm giving it 4 stars because while it's great for everyday tasks, it can lag with heavy multitasking. Also, a bit more RAM would have been nice. But overall, it's a reliable tool for business use and personal needs alike.

I replaced a HP x2 11 chromebook with this chromebook. This one is faster but lacks the stylus the HP had. Also the battery life is not as long as the HP. The Duet 3 feels lighter and the case/keyboard works good.

Works well in desktop mode with USBC-to-USB-USB-VGA adapter (or adapters); the keyboard is light. The tablet is nice. This Chromebook only has 4G RAM; 8GB might be preferable. The pen does not work with this one. Still, a capable Chromebook.

My wife has an iPad, but I wanted something more similar to my work laptop (I got tired of keeping personal stuff on my work devices) and a little more geared to normal/traditional productivity. Google already runs my life, so an easy-to-use tablet (Chromebook) was an easy choice. It would be great if there was more compatibility with all of the streaming apps - this is my only complaint with the tablet - but the keyboard and touchscreen both work great. And the battery life is pretty good, too. Would buy again, especially a newer model.

I bought this tablet as a gift to myself after a rough patch after Christmas. I wanted something that was smaller than my Chromebook laptops but still powerful and fun this one fits the bill with some issues. First of all it does not have any micro SD card slots so you will not be expanding the internal storage and you only get standard storage so if you want to watch videos or anything like that you probably want to opt for a thumb drive or external hard drive just make sure it has USB C because there are no usb-a ports. Battery life is pretty good in fact the only thing I would complain about is the fabric covering on the rear stand and front side of the keyboard. It tends to stain easily and it's not easily cleaned. At least mine isn't. Also somehow along the way the glass of the screen got yes smudged by possibly keyboard I tried glass polish and it doesn't seem to get these as much as off but the screen was Christine when I open the packaging so I'm not sure what went wrong there. Maybe it's not Gorilla Glass like I thought it would be. Also the keyboard sometimes behaves like it's not connected and you would have to disconnect and reconnect physically in order for the keyboard to be recognized in some cases. All in all pretty good however I would tell you to wait for a sale like I did as the full price is a little steep for what you get. I got mine for 275

Bought this for my son homeschooling. He loves it. It is responsive and easy to use and handle. He is able to easily carry it with him and setup. Audio is great and for down time it's excellent for YouTube and his favorite dash games. I would have given this 5 stars if not for geek squad. The was damaged and I took it to geek squad to have it replaced. I have a 2 year protection plan and they replaced the screen in about 2 weeks. A month after the service was complete, the Chromebook stop taking a charge. I returned to geek squad and was informed I had reached the limit of repair dollar amount and they could not fix it. I would have to pay them to diagnose the problem and pay for the repair. These were not the terms I believe I had purchased. Now it is no longer portable and was charging and had a great battery life before the repair. I am disappointed with best buy and geek squad. I am a repeat customer and it makes me weary to make another computer purchase and I am shopping for a replacement.

This Lenovo - IdealPad Duet 3 is my second Chromebook because I'm addicted to Chromebook qualities, battery life is one. It fits well into my habit of having it on and off many times in a day. Even with a limited number of Extensions, I still am able to manage my work on other Apps. With more money, IdealPad Duet 5 is more preferable with more features.

For being so compact, the ability to type is easy. I use this for work and the back and forth for the touch screen, to the pad it awesome. I also got myself an adaptable mouse to travel with and a pen that can be used as a laser pointer with it. Its versatility is nice.

Good tablet for work purposes. It can be a little glitchy occasionally, but overall it does what I need and is pretty efficient. Its also the perfect size to carry around at work.

Just recently purchase within the last month. Purchased pa rtly as a device for viewing and participating in social media. I also read local news, podcast and some personal apps. For this the Duet 3 has been excellent... This is my first experience with chromebook and thus far my experience has been good. I have not been able to find a good email app that will setup with some of my email providers but this has not been a huge deal... Overall thus far i like it

Its a little small but it happens to work. I can use it anywhere and everything it comes with works wonderfully, i wish it came with a stylus instead of having to buy one separately. Good product
