It is my understanding that newer chromebooks would receive updates for 10 years from the release date. The Lenovo response in this Q&A states that auto updates stop in 2031. This chromebook was release in 2026. Why don't updates continue until 2036?

will this be compatible with a circuit air explore 5 design space as I just want a inexpensive laptop to use just for the cutting machine.
