Great battery life and solid for basic tasks, but the screen is a letdown—dim and poor viewing angles. Best for light use, not media lovers.

Wish it was 2 in 1 Very bad touchscreen I regret it for school use

While the price on this thing is fantastic, The CPU and 4GB of RAM struggle to keep up if you have more than a handful of tabs open, or are running anything a bit more demanding like 3D modeling web apps or even Google Chat. The touchscreen is solid and looks good. The keyboard is usable, albeit a bit louder than my old Asus C433. Speakers are decent. Trackpad could be bigger and a bit smoother, but it's not horrible. The main issue is that in the 4-5 days I owned it, it would grind to a halt about once or twice a day. If you open one tab at a time, this will be just fine. If you're like me where you keep lots of tabs open at once so you can bounce back to previous tasks, I'd spend a bit more money on something with 8GB of RAM. Unfortunately I am going to have to return it.

I bought this for my mom. I have one just like it. I really like mine, but the new one's touchscreen wasn't as responsive as it should be. I did a hard reset and power wash and dusted the screen. It would improve, but not for long. I had to return it.

Was hoping to use this laptop for school, however it didn’t live up to the hype, it felt light, cheap and worst of all the files were impossible to find due to the small storage the files got deleted& you had to use google doc to write any papers. It had a screen write feature which was nice But it wasn’t calibrated correctly and it was off centered & writing on the screen felt like writing on a kids cheap magnetic screen toy. Overall, would not recommend for school. Might be good for just browsing the net.

Does it do the job of being a college laptop? Yes. Does it do it well? No. I got this laptop on deal and i genuinely would not recommend anyone get it beside on a grand sale. It has poor processing power the often time I find myself waiting for a page to process, opening google docs causes a 5 second lag spike where the browser freezes when doing the same think on my desktop is seamless. Bottom line? Get it on sale or spend some extra to get something better!

It it a little slow and pauses a lot but it’s good for the price and being a touch screen I would say the battery life is amazing

Based on the suggestions and advice received from the sales rep, I chose this for my child that was starting high school, but I really regret the option because it’s too simple and slow for the classes, the work and everything else that a teenager does. To him it feels like a toy..

I have owned multiple chrombooks as I use them regularly for basic streaming (youtube) and personal email updates. I understand the computer is not designed for multitasking. This computer, even tho on paper more powerful (ram, processor) that my previous ones (acer, asus) , is constantly buffering even when opening chrome… hence, rendering it unusable.

I didn't like the operating system. Liked that it was light, touch screen, and value

I was not happy with this purchase, and I returned it days later. 1st off the letter S came loose, next I could not download much. I loved the touch screen and initially was very glad to have a Lenovo. But found that machine couldn’t do a lot of things that I needed it to do. I erased my personal information and returned it. Maybe I’ll try another Lenovo at a later time.

Myriad connectivity problems and a mishmash of minor technical issues all equate to being frustrated with the machine despite the savings. Don't be afraid to buy a little higher end and save yourself some headaches.

I thought I was buying a laptop. I don’t even use it because it’s just different. I was happy about the price that I didn’t really know it wasn’t the same.

I bought it for a small business. It’s really slow and it wasn’t a very good purchase at all to be honest. I haven’t had a lap top or Chromebook in quite a while, perhaps I was expecting to much, but it’s slow and I don’t particularly like it. I’ve considered returning it because I’m going to purchase a used MacBook for my needs.

Hugely frustrating. I lose the internet connection several times in a day and have to turn it off, then back on to reset. I have done a power wash to reset to factory specs without any effect. There are lots of reports of this problem on the web. Most replies point to the router being the problem but in my case and many others that is not the case. Bluetooth also frequently won’t synch with my mouse requiring opening the settings app and doing a reset for it, too.

This item is sleek and beautiful. That is where all stops. I have excellent computer skills, but this one has has all apps opening only in a tiny window. It freezes. I am not sure if it is bogged down with boat wear or defective. I do have the protective plan and we will be making an appt to take to best buy. Still I have never had a laptop so this. Last Christmas I bought 5 HP chromebooks and none of them did this. They were only $79.00 Extremely unhappy with this purchase. I paid $149 on Black Friday. This is enough to put me off this brand forever.
Not happy that it does not have a file system as in windows as not happy that it doesn’t accept my prepurchased Microsoft word.
Product I never used yet. Want to return but too late to rerurned
