As a novice, this unit meets and exceeds all of my necessities; as far as getting to know the basics of a touchscreen. Screen is just right. Accessing the different settings is a breeze. As a person with a marginal price range, i felt this purchase was very safe. Affordable. Overall esthetic value is very nice. Very easy to appear that i know me way around the device, while still in " learning mode." I find the self explanatory step by step guides to everything. Very helpful. Next time, i may be hesitant to initiate the purchase with Chromebook operating system. Why? Feels as if I'm being restricted by Google. Which, don't get me wrong. While they are the most capable of corporations, as far as customer approval, in my opinion. It's apparent to me that I'm being fed a steam is info from the lens of Google. Which doesn't seem "all encompassing" as far as the whole internet experience. The battery life on this device is amazing. The mobility. Awesome. Durability. Plus. I throw it in the laptop bag. Off i go. Get home from work. Put it on the counter while I'm eating dinner. Perfect. Sounds is great. Lenovo, did a very nice job with this. But i would love to see what else they are capable of before i become a brand devoted, " lifetime consumer." I have to admit though. I am a bit interested to see if they measure up to the Mac book, which i have limited pay usage on. How your docs this useful. Cheers!

In regular use the chromebook performed well and video playback was smooth and jitter free. The machine has exceptional build quality, and has an excellent keyboard, and a very nice touch screen. Battery life is tremendous. The outside of the machine looks great, very professional, yet at home in any setting. The setup process was slick. Once Chrome had updated it took 10 minutes to have the Chromebook fully operational. Full disclosure, i did actually return this device because one of the rather unique web applications I use often required more resources than this device could support. If this machine had 8Gb RAM instead of 4Gb RAM probably would have worked acceptably. Bottom line, this would make an excellent device for a regular user. Someone who may require more horsepower to work with complex web apps may want to test before buying.

It it very compact for traveling, got me a 4.0 through my first 2 years of college. Slow if too many tabs are open but a quick reboot and its solved. Security is flawless and is very diverse in what you can do. Would not suggest for heavy gaming

Is not a touch screen as the description stated but overall is great. I like how light weight it is.

For the price, decent for kids and for simple emailing, web browsing, and video streaming. Once you open more than a few tabs, it is VERY slow and frustrating due to only 4GB of RAM. Very nice feel, keyboard, screen and speakers. Great battery life. Does not fold into "tent" mode or tablet configuration, so may not be ideal for kids. It does open flat to 180 degrees.

I ordered this laptop because I have the larger Lenova and I needed something more portable for travel. I must say its ok if you are just writing papers but it does not have many functions. It's harder to do a screenshot, its harder to copy and paste,and it seems slower. Battery life is excellent so far

It is cool for the amount I paid. I pray it lasts longer than 2 years. I had to purchase this one because the previous one died. Honestly its not really fair to rate since I just got it. That is why I gave it 3 stars because its still new. Not sure if I'd recommend it yet, nor can I honestly attest on its functions. The screen appears to be clear & working well, no complaints.

Good crisp and bright screen, battery good, case is solid

It’s a good laptop and runs well. The only issue is that after it goes into sleep mode, it doesn’t reconnect to Wi-Fi unless you restart it. I’m not sure whether this is a general issue with the model or specific to this unit.

I bought this for my son so he could do his school work and to limit what he could do with apps. The screen is decent and the touch screen feature is nice, but it crashes a lot using certain apps. In the few weeks we've had it, it has completely reset itself causing us to log back in to everything and redownload and reconnect several apps. Would not recommend unless you like playing IT guy often.

It’s okay, I try to use it for school and every now and then it’ll crash bc I have too many tabs open but that’s on me. I think for the price it’s good but I expected a little better. The quality is amazing, the battery life is superb but the computer as a whole makes school not as easy as I needed it to. Sometimes it runs a little slow, I’ll click something and have to wait for it to load but that’s not an everyday issue. Just every once in a while.

Great laptop for the price. It's a nice laptop with touchscreen. Perfect for school work. If you want to game or download anything I wouldn't recommend.

Overall okay- has basic functions and is only a tiny bit laggy. It unfortunately does not support the newer version of Musescore, and the older version lags severely. However, I have had no problems with it otherwise and it works well and has a nice design.

I returned my Acer Chromebook 314 and replaced with this machine. It is definitely much better looking -- love the blue colour -- but the build quality and performance are essentially the same. The MediaTek Kompanio 500 Series processor was billed as "medium" vs the "budget" Intel Celeron on the Acer, but honestly I do not detect any difference. Also I will note that I have been getting irritating oop-up warnings about 1% battery life remaining, while the battery icon shows full (and I am plugged in). Have only had it for a couple days, but I will likely return.

No complaints this does the job specially for the price

It good for a Chromebook the price amount wasn’t so good for this particular Chromebook but that is okay I am making the best out of it.

Review 1: I recently purchased the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook, and while it has some appealing features, I can't help but feel the price is a bit steep for what you get. The 14" FHD touchscreen is vibrant and responsive, making it great for browsing and streaming. However, the MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor struggles with multitasking, which can be frustrating during busy work sessions. The 4GB of memory feels limiting, especially when I have multiple tabs open. On the bright side, the design is sleek and the Abyss Blue color is quite attractive. Overall, while it’s a decent laptop for casual use, I expected more performance for the price. Review 2: I've been using the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook for a few weeks now, and I have mixed feelings. The touchscreen is definitely a highlight; it’s clear and responds well to my inputs. However, I find the performance lacking, particularly with only 4GB of memory. It tends to lag when running several applications simultaneously, which is disappointing. The storage space is also quite limited at 64GB, making it hard to store larger files or applications. While the design is nice and lightweight, I believe there are better options out there that offer more value for money. In the end, it's a solid Chromebook, but the price just doesn’t reflect its capabilities.
