The title. Lenovo has no explanation other than to buy one of their docks. What’s the point of an “open” (thunderbolt) standard? Their other laptops have no issues with the same dock (this as a personal device versus my work Lenovo laptop with a similar era CPU. For reference, I’m using an Amazon brand Thunderbolt 4 dock with two QHD monitor. Again, my work Lenovo laptop has no issues but this refuses to work with it. What a joke.

Bought this Lenovo in September 2025. I like most everything about the laptop except the keyboard stopped working after 2 months. If I perform a hard shutdown, the keyboard starts working again. But as soon as you shut the laptop down the normal way and start it back up, the keyboard stops working again. For what I paid for this laptop, I should not be having problems like this after only 2 months of use. Because I didn't purchase the extended warranty, I will have to take it to a computer repair shop and pay to have it fixed. Very Disappointed!

Computer kept overheating to 38 degrees Celsius and higher. It got to the point where it was hard to ignore. When it gets to this point it comes down to personal preference but I had to return it. Don't get me wrong, when it was working it was working great but it was overheating bad where I had to do diagnostic testing to see if something else was the cause. Only thing I found was the GPU/GPU was close to the battery which caused it to overheat in addition to it being a thin laptop. Performance wise, excellent if you can deal with the overheating aspect.

The computer keeps shutting down on me. Have had it with the Geek Squad and they can't find the problem. Not a real satisfied camper. If it didn't shut down and I have to restart it several times a night, I would give it an excellent rating.

To start, since this could be due to a number of reasons such as a faulty power button, a software glitch, or a hardware issue. Could you share in the Q& A section of this page the tasks or applications you were using when the laptop unexpectedly shut down, and also, check for overheating by ensuring the vents are clear of dust and debris, using compressed air if needed?
If the issue persists, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.

I haven't really used it and I'm trying to resell because the actual weight is 1.1lbs heavier than what is stated in the product description. I traveled a lot and weight is one of biggest considerations for me.
