This machine a heavier than I am used to, but it's not too bad. It was very easy to set up and was able to get to work quickly. So far, my only issue is that the the Wi-Fi will stop working if there is a USB 3.0 drive plugged in. It only has one USB-A port. I bought the Insignia 4 port 3.0 USB hub so that I can use a USB drive and a wireless mouse. It worked fine until I plugged in my USB 3.0 thumb drive into the hub. Once that is plugged in the Wi-Fi will start working intermittently then not at all. I tried on multiple networks. The same happens if it is plugged directly into the laptop without the USB hub. USB 2.0 thumb drives work fine. I ended up having to get new USB hub that was 2.0. I can plug a 3.0 USB drive into 2.0 hub it and it works without issue. All drivers are updated. USB 3.0 and wi-fi work fine when I plug the drive into the power supply of a docking station. This makes me think that there is a power resource conflict between the wi-fi and a 3.0 USB device, but I'm no computer expert. I've only had this a couple of weeks and am a bit disappointed that a brand new laptop can't simultaneously use a USB 3.0 thumb drive and connect to Wi-Fi. Please let me know if I am missing something and this is a user error.

We bought this in Oct 2025. Worked well till the trackpad quit working in Feb 2026. Worked with Lenovo and one customer rep told me there is nothing he can do for me. Have another similar laptop but 14", and in 1 year (2025) the screen went out and in 2026 its back to Lenovo to get motherboard and and keyboard replaced. We bought these laptops for kids who are in college and one being in repair and one just does what it does with trackpad, it add additional frustration. Will have to wait until their college classes are done to send it in to be fixed. Laptop has good specs and that one of the reasons for the purchase. But what good the specs if the manufacture hardware is faulty their customer support is horrible, like mean horrible. If you are looking to purchase this laptop definitely get extended warranty, as you will need it.

I'm not not ready to use it, yet. It was not completely set up like I thouoght it would be. Just hoping to win $500. Told salesman I needed to support 2 monitors and this one will not since it only has one USB port. Got to come up with another option to get this done.

Hi,
Thanks for choosing Lenovo and for sharing your feedback with us. Regarding connecting two external displays, this can be done using a Thunderbolt 4 Dock/Hub, or a USB-C Dock/Hub that supports dual external displays to make this happen. You could also use the Yoga's HDMI port to connect one monitor and a USB-C adapter or USB-C to [respective video connector] cable to connect the other.

I primarily use this computer for school as I work toward becoming a nursing student. Overall, though, it hasn’t performed the way I expected. My school’s website often doesn’t load properly, and at times it even causes the entire computer to crash. The battery life is also disappointing; after only about two hours of use, it’s already down to 50%. Additionally, while I know gaming isn’t its main purpose, the display looks noticeably pixelated at times and the performance can be somewhat laggy.

The laptop was perfect but the main problem I had was with the pad. It makes a lot of sound. There is a more pricier model that makes less sound. I know it seems like a small problem but when you are clicking the pad a million times you will start to notice. If its not a big deal or you prefer a wireless mouse just ignore this. But if you want a good inbuilt pad then you might need to reconsider.

Laptop power holds only for 4hours. Not playing games, not streaming a lot. simply watch youtube. The material also feels cheap than the previous Yoga 7i I had purchased. I will not buy this model again.

Too many things not known in order to make the device work properly. Had to make too many visits to the geek squad so they could let us know, one thing at a time, this must be done in order for this to work. Would not purchase this brand again and would not recommend to anyone.

Weak hinges can't keep the display from flopping. If you move this laptop at all, especially moving it around by the base, the display will flop bad.

This computer gets daily task done and would recommend only as a work computer.
