I purchased the Lenovo 9i dual-screen laptop for my demanding medical school program, attracted by its dual-screen feature. However, within 90 days, I faced a persistent issue: the bottom screen kept flashing and glitching, rendering the dual-screen feature useless. I reached out to Lenovo for support. Despite their efforts with updates and remote checks over two hours, the problem recurred three hours later. On contacting them again, their solution was a factory reset and a possible repair, but they refused to exchange it for a non-faulty unit. This response is unacceptable, considering the laptop's high price tag and my reliance on it for my intensive studies. Now, I face the prospect of being without a laptop during crucial times due to the needed repairs. I regret my decision to switch from Apple to Lenovo for this critical tool in my education. The Lenovo 9i dual screen might promise innovation, but it has failed to deliver reliability or satisfactory customer service post-purchase. My experience with this laptop has been the worst, and I strongly advise against purchasing this model. Consider this a warning from a disappointed and frustrated medical student.

I bought this laptop for school and out of the box it was amazing. But after about an hour of trying to figure out how it worked and everything it stopped functioning properly. Lenovo customer support was no help and it never worked in a correct manner again. So, I returned it.

Generally I like this machine but there's a known issue (you can check on the Lenovo user forum) where the Lenovo display software always defaults the screen scaling back to 200% from what you set it at. Personally I prefer 150% but to have Lenovo's software change it back to 200% everytime the device sleeps is unacceptable. Further some users on the forum are saying the same software is messing with their external monitor settings. Lenovo offering "December" as a target to roll out fixes. Mind boggling for what should be a simple fix. Returning the device and watching from the sidelines until a fix is rolled out.

Six month into usage and a key on keyboard got broken. Lenovo does not respect warranty saying "it is physical damage".

I absolutely loved this laptop. However the shift key stopped working. I call geek squad and Lenovo and no one could help me fix it. So I returned it.
