First of all, I purchased this item in “excellent open box condition” from BestBuy. Sadly, when I came home and opened the box I noticed it was missing items after watching unboxing videos of the same products. I contacted Best Buy and was adviced to return it. At the store they told me “all open items are ALWAYS missing items, even when in excellent condition” which was not an accurate description from the website —or from personal experience when buying “excellent open box items” from BB. I was not offered a discount of any kind or even a gift card for the troubles —BB used to have better customer service a couple years ago, especially for Total Members. Let’s review this product now: The machine is beautiful (although mine did not come with all the accessories). Lenovo has created a very interesting PC that is super pleasant to look at. However, the speakers are weak much like those in a MacBook Air. The touch keyboard was nice and the physical keyboard was interesting but it has no backlighting and that the magnets are not that strong. The PC’s software, however, seems half-baked and it feels like one is not yet utilizing this machine for all its worth. The available widgets are quite limited. The biggest con is that this is a very fragile machine for which there are no protective cases and, if you drop the machine, I have read Lenovo will charge $3,000.00 to replace the screen(s). Also, it seems Lenovo has given up on this machine. This PC is an interesting idea but not quite ready for the average consumer. This is more of a niche product for those willing to fetch out a couple grand to become “beta testers” basically.

The dual screens are super useful, but performance is subpar. It's noticeably slower than my 5-year-old Yoga 9i and buggier. When I walked away, Windows logged out and the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse lost connection. Facial recognition failed and then I had to re-enable BT using the awkward touch screen. Annoying. The "Enter" key doesn't seem to work in certain places in Win11 which is also annoying. The Yoga Book 9i is a complete dud in laptop mode; glare on the bottom screen is obscene and it sits at a mostly unusable angle. Basically, this is a mobile desktop system with new-release bugs and budget specs. But the screens are exceptional.

First the unimportant stuff - never thought a color of computer would bother me, but this one did! Why Lenovo decided on a barf teal color, dunno! Secondly, and while it should be obvious, all the accessories (keyboard, origami stand, mouse) is more stuff to remember, organize, pack and frustrating - Laptops are for portability and simplicity, not too be more complicated. I appreciate Asus approach more now, or the X1 fold with just a single accessory, the keyboard. Now the major deal breaker was the utterly grotesque fingerprint magnet the screens are! Folks, it's a real problem. It may sound trivial, and most will dismiss this criticism, but don't. If you think your phone or tablet get fingerprints, Yoga book 9i is on another level. After all, it's 2 big touchscreens and besides looking "ugly", the fingerprints truly interferes with viewing/working on the screens. It is SEVERE. I never had problems with fingerprints on my devices, never. I'd consider my finger tips much below average leaving any residue. Don't think "well, just wipe it down more often" - NO, fingerprint build up is IMMEDIATE, after just a few taps/swipes, whatever coating Lenovo uses, its screens do NOT just wipe off with quick wiping. It truly requires "scrubbing" with a microfiber + solution. I have a microfiber cloth that has a towel-like texture and that helped a little, but without proper screen cleaner, it's maddening. Performance wise - meh. Average but after a few hours of usage, and needing to wipe screens half dozen times, I decided to return it. There were some quirks, and can't go into much detail due to my limited time with it. I'm happy Lenovo tries, and willing to sacrifice some quirks for this luxury/standards. However anything that distracts from viewing, it a no go. I'd much rather have a fold crease, hands down (fingers down?), Over fingerprints. I just don't understand why/what type of glass it's using that is so poor against fingerprints. Looking beyond the glass, it's a fantastic OLED screen! Since you can't, I'm giving the display 1 star If you're a professional using this in public, meetings, or office, it actually would reflect poorly on you as someone who is dirty. Yes, that bad. If you must have this, I recommend BroTech screen protectors. Made in Germany, they are excellent preventing almost ALL fingerprints on touchscreens. Used one in a car infotainment screen and was shocked how good it is. I don't know if they make any for this model though.

concept is really cool, however for my use as a student on the go. it was not ideal performing the little setup / teardown ritual to transport. Also, transporting with the keyboard being separate item made it a bit cumbersome in the hand. This would be amazing if I was going somewhere like the library or office for an extended period of time where setting up with the stand isn't a big deal. However, at home I have a powerful desktop and portability, ease of use, and battery life are my main concerns for a laptop. I'd recommend if you don't plan on using it on the move very often.

I purchased extended warranty and battery went out after slightly more than one year. Lenovo said warranty covered everything else except battery!! Re Keyboard, not easy to use, not backlit and needs to be recharhged frequently. Screen management problematic as well. I finally got the HP foldable full screen and much better screen, keyboard but also more expensive. I think Lenovo rushed this out

This a fantastic device, no doubt. The only issues are the price, lack of upgradability, and performance. If you could have 32gb of ram and a slightly more powerful cpu/less thermally throttled, this laptop would be basically perfect and worth the price. Really cool proof of concept, but I don’t think it’s for most consumers yet.

Great concept laptop. A must have for developers, only caveat it is slow and memory is not expandable. If you are testing couple of docker containers in WSL2 and have chrome tabs open with media...then you are hovering around 13 to 15 GB used ram.

Could not get the second screen to work as it was supposed to. Neat concept but too glitchy.

Cool concept, mine came with something wrong with the top screen so I had to send it back, went with dell xps 13 instead

Awesome concept but the technology is not there yet. UI and integration use of the screen and keypad should be improved. It was buggy.
