5601-2E Decora rocker single-pole AC quiet switch for residential use. Rated 15 A at 120/277 V and designed for grounding-type, 1-way wiring. Frame shields against dust and seats in the wall plate to prevent rocker binding. Terminal screws accept up to No. 12 AWG and Quickwire push-in terminals accept No. 14 AWG solid copper wire only. Motor switching capacity is 80% of the switch rating, and the device is full-rated for tungsten, fluorescent, and resistive loads. Sturdy construction provides long service life. Wall plate not included; box contains one 5601-2E switch.
