From the moment our matte black stainless Door-in-Door counter-depth LG InstaView Refrigerator was delivered we were smitten with it. It looks so fine and the design and features are awesome. Sure it's fun to knock twice on the door window to look inside but knowing you can simply press the button on the door-in-door handle to just open up the easy access compartment for drinks, snacks, etc. is very "cool" and conserves energy. Many other neat features. This is our second LG appliance and we've come to know LG as a manufacturer of well designed, quality products. We were VERY pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of our Best Buy salesperson as well as the punctuality, courtesy and attention provided by the delivery team from the company that Best Buy contracted with for the delivery. Highly recommend this LG InstaView fridge and Best Buy! Yes, it's a bit pricey even with sale discounts, but how often do you buy a new refrigerator so you might as well get one you'll like and enjoy it for years to come. Just sayin' that's my view and in this case, it's an "InstaView!"

It is one of the most beautiful refrigerators I’ve ever seen but it is way too small for the price I had to get a counter depth so I couldn’t get the full size and I’m not used to such a small fridge but I love the ice maker I love the look of the fridge I love some of the features I just wish it was bigger

I love that it's counterdepth, yet feels spacious. I love that it's quiet and has neat features like the InstaView door and the air filter inside. What I don't like is that the ice gets stuck together inside the compartment. I also don't like that I find drops of water under the door where the ice is. This water find its way down the front of the doors beneath it and leaves water marks. I suspect that it's either condensation or, perhaps, water from the ice or water line. I mean, what else could it be? I might have to reach out to LG and/or Best Buy about these things. Otherwise, it's a fridge--a beautiful one at that.

So far we are very satisfied with our LG refrigerator. The convenience of the third drawer is great. We keep canned drinks in there so it avoids opening and closing the main refrigerator door. The third door with its knocking feature and the window is helpful but not as helpful as I thought it would be. It’s kind of a gimmick. when my dogs bark for treats in the kitchen it activates the light. I guess it’s kind of funny. I wish the shelves in the refrigerator were more adjustable. The little shelves inside the door are too small and are not really adjustable. This is something you don’t notice until you have the appliance in your own home. This refrigerator is counter deep so the inside is smaller than a regular refrigerator. We knew that when we ordered it. All in all I do like it. The convenience of having ice and water through the door is great. LG has a good reputation and The reviews are good. I hope it lasts a long time.

So, at first, I wasn't sure about the "instaview" feature and the "custom chill" drawer, but we (especially the kids) actually use them a ton! The kids put their lunches in the drawer and I love that we can grab drinks from the instaview window without opening the fridge. Time will tell if this actually leads to actual energy savings, but it sure seems like it should be saving energy! The fridge itself looks great, and, although it has less space than our last fridge (a side by side LG), we don't mind, as it helps us focus on using, instead of losing, our food in the fridge. The other thing that gave us peace of mind was learning that LG recently improved the warranty on the compressor (https://lgcommunity.us.com/discussion/3871/important-lg-refrigerator-warranty-information-announcement-please-read). Although it previously had a 10 year warranty on the compressor parts, now the labor is included for 5 years. I read a lot of online complaints about LG compressors failing, but the decision by LG to stand behind their equipment gave me the confidence to go ahead with the purchase. It has only been a month, but the fridge is everything we expected! :)

I purchased this to replace my 10 yr old LG. I love that it is counter depth. My kitchen looks more finished and larger now plus it is so much easier to find everything. I love all the compartments. It is too new to tell how it will hold up. I did have a lot of problems with my prior LG, especially bins breaking and things like that. I have not been able to connect to the wifi yet. I called LG customer service to help and they were useless.

Unfortunately I need the counter depth refrigerator. I had a GE Cafe which went out. I was always frustrated with the capacity. The LG has so much storage in the doors plus the drawer. I have the whole inside of the refrigerator for dishes of food. Expensive but excellent.

The refrigerator truly enhances the entire kitchen. The stainless steel is shiny and the black door matches the glass on my double oven and microwave. I love having the door that allows me to reach items that I use frequently. I am very happy with this refrigerator in my home.

Enough space,great design beautiful very fancy and I would recommend this item to anyone

Needed to replace a 21-year old side-by-side built-in refrigerator/freezer and wanted an easier-to-use layout of a French door model. This not only fits into the restricted counter-depth space but also provides much better visibility of and easier access to items. We especially like the CustomChill Drawer - perfect for containers of left-overs. Although it doesn't have the wood paneling of my old built-in, it looks fine and I saved 2/3 of the cost for the same capacity. Best Buy's installation was professional, quick, and painless.

We have had our fridge for over 1 month now. So far we are pleased. We love the button that you can push on front door to make the small right side of the door only open so you conserve energy. It seems to optimize space as much as possible in the design. We had a 4 door fridge before and had to have it again. So convenient to go in center drawer for more commonly used supplies.

This fridge is a show stopper. It looks great and gives the kitchen that impressive feel. Highly recommend

After reviewing Consumer Reports and comparing several like priced refrigerators we decided on this LG. It’s spacious with room in the doors for taller items. Nice in Door ice dispenser. Extra pull out drawer which is great for salad and fruit items.

I love my new fridge, great space for a counter depth!

I am in love with our new refrigerator! It’s sleek and absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. It’s always the focal piece whenever you walk in the kitchen. I love all of the added features that it has. The only thing is that it’s not as deep as I would like. I’m glad we have a second fridge for additional storage and space.

Would not buy anything else but am LG refrig. Always bought from Best Buy because they provide honest information. They don’ Work on commissions.

This refrigerator is as practical as good looking.

It is a smaller refrigerator than I had before, but the compartments and the extra slide out drawer you can use for storage is really different. It is divided into three sections. Things do not get lost in here like they do in a bigger refrigerator. LOVE IT!!!!

Control panel ( touch pads ) not responding as touch and push hard many times for acting changes ice mode from cube into crush , and the insta view door make squeaking noise every single time to open

We absolutely love the see thru door for drinks, and the second freezer drawer that we can adjust the temperature in. We bought a counter depth model because of our kitchen.
