Wife and teens are so excited with this tech friendly awesome dryer. I paid for install but due to Covid 19, I installed it and it was easy. Bought the plug and dryer hose. App works the family is very happy during these tough times and Best Buy delivered exactly what was sold at a GREAT! Price. We will now buy the matching washer!

The dryer is efficient, has many controls for different drying needs and electronically signals on the front screen the minutes the drying will take. It also gives you an alarm to remind you when the drying is done. Got a great deal at Best Buy, Eau Claire, WI. They installed the item for me at a great price. Good value for the price I paid. Hi tech dryer.

My new house didn’t have the gas connections ready and I didn’t have the time for these project at the time. I bought this electric dryer that so far is pretty good. It matches the washer and runs smooth. It has an smart function to avoid over drying and wasting money.

Just like the washing machine it’s been 22 - 23 years since my last purchase. This dryer has so many functions it’s going to take me a minute to learn it all!

Purchased for our new home. Easy to use and great washing options. Sings a little song too!

My dryer was installed 12/26/2019. I used it 3 times and my washer went out. In those 3 loads were different fabric types. No load completely dried but I thought it was because I was learning the settings. Each load took 2-3 cycles. Lint was attached to the seal of the door with each and every load in spite of my cleaning the vent and the door between loads. Then my washer dies. I go almost 3 weeks of no washing or drying at my house. I then buy an LG washer and start using the dryer, which is now not returnable to Best Buy. (Big MISTAKE - I failed to get Geek protection.) I'm having the same problems as I did before with each load! I call LG customer service. Almost 55 minutes of inquiry and I get an appointment. Tonight I get a call from LG, who wants me to stop everything and answer questions and run a diagnostic using my cell phone. I have company so asked if we could reschedule. The answer - NO! I get a lecture on how I will be expected to pay for this service call if it is not a default on the part of the machine as well as a long explanation about how it might be airflow, all while my company sits and waits. Needless to say, I didn't take the time to do the diagnostic and you wanna bet I pay for the service call? He was curt and didn't care about MY time. LG works harder at trying to not send out a service person than if they just sent out the service person. I'm very disappointed. Maybe its not too late to return the washer...

Pro #1: It dries better than anything else I've used. With other dryers, a heavy towel or jeans might be left damp. I've never had to throw anything back into this dryer after the "drying complete" music plays. Pro #2: It's quiet. Pro #3: It's easier to use than it looks. Pro #4: Wrinkle-care setting which turns over the load every few minutes after the cycle is done. It really does help prevent wrinkles. Pro #5: Energy-saving seems to be legit. My electricity bills are pretty low. Pro #6: The "cycle complete" jingle is cheerful and gets stuck in my head (the matching washer has the same jingle, so you'll hear it twice for every wash. You can turn it off.) Con #1: I have the matching LG washer which leaves my clothes pretty dry to begin with, yet this dryer still takes about an hour to dry clothes on the normal setting. Not a deal-breaker though. The normal setting is energy-saving - so I could use a different setting to dry in half the time if I needed. Con#2: Like everyone else says, the display is kind of dark. I agree it is a design flaw but it's definitely readable.

I am very happy with this dryer, it is working extremely well. It is quiet, efficient, and has many options for different drying times and fabrics. The control panel could be easier to see, as it is hard to read the words on the black background which are also not backlit, but otherwise operation is seamless and I am very happy with how my clothes look too. I am very particular about my laundry and this machine is perfect for me with lots of options and settings. The machine is very attractive too and that works well for us since our laundry room is visible from our kitchen.

This dryer is very efficient and easy to use. Installation took only a few minutes, even with stacking on the washer pairing. The smartphone app is a nice feature as you can get alerts when drying is completed. The dryer is also very quiet; you barely hear anything even with our laundry being adjacent to the kitchen.

It took a little longer to get delivery than originally expected, but the delivery guys did a good job getting everything down to the basement and setting everything up. They were courteous and very careful with the delivery and set up. The large capacity of both the washer and the dryer makes large loads a snap. Very quiet while running and very easy to operate. Not to mention how nice they look in our laundry room.

Bought this to replace a 2008 lg dryer that had a cracked drum. With an $800 msrp you’d expect it to have been built with a light inside like the old one, or like any dryer I’ve ever seen but no, no there is no light. Do I need a drum light? Yes, yes I do because I creep in the hallway in the dark at 3am to empty the dryer but now I have to turn lights on to sort the clothes and check for animal hair. The drum feels lighter and thinner than the last one which is off putting considering why I needed to buy this in the first place. The door and plastic control panel area feel cheap compared to the last one. The upper section surrounding the knob and control panel has a thin but noticeable gap around it in the front and moves if you firmly press on it. I used a sensor dry setting for the first test load, a pair of sweatpants among the mix remained mostly damp especially the waistband after almost an hour yet the two towels and all the shirts were reasonably dry. Used the quick dry setting to finish off drying the load. The black display without any backlighting is seriously lacking considering the price. Being short and having it stacked makes it hard to read anything near the tiny indicator lights. I don’t think I’ll ever have a need for the wifi/app feature but who knows maybe it can be used instead of having to stand on my tip toes and squint at the display. Things I like about it: same footprint as the old dryer so it fits right on top of my 2008 washer and YES I did measure it all before purchasing, it does NOT have the steam feature, it’s lightweight and easy to lift and set up, I got it for less than the on sale price. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. Unfortunately there just isn’t anything that is remarkable about this dryer when I compare to what I had. If this was my first LG maybe I’d be super thrilled but it’s just ok to me and feel that overall the previous ancient one was of better construction, and it had a light. Why would you take away the light? Who’s idea was that? Do they still have a job?

Does a really good job drying. Its very quiet. The WiFi feature is a nice add so you can get involved in other tasks and get a notification the dryer cycle is complete. You can get a dryer rack (purchase separately) which is important to us for drying tennis shoes.

We are very pleased with the dryer. It is quiet, works efficiently and has many drying options. My only complaint is that the control panel is not back-lit and is a little bit hard to view in dim lighting. Otherwise, this was a great purchase.

I had an LG Dryer for 13 years that ran perfect until the motor fried one day, so another LG Dryer was on my menu. I bought this one online, wish I would have known the Dry Options Control Panel is BLACK and almost impossible to SEE the VARIOUS options. Dumb. It also has NO INTERIOR LIGHT !!! What ? My 13 year old LG had an interior light, thats SAD. It has wifi connection via app (Good) but no LIGHT and BLACK SCREEN. 4 Stars for these 2 flaws...

The LG washer and dryer had been an incredible investment. So quiet, love the wifi aspect, and ease of use!

Got this because of it's great ratings and 'best buy' status in Consumer Reports. Bonus: it's a pretty close match to the LG washer we had purchased earlier. I saved more cash by removing the power cord from our old dryer and using it on this one. So far so good! Great performance, and much quieter than our old one. Haven't connected it to our wifi yet as I don't really see the point, but I guess I will at some point.
