The LG Gram Book 16 Edge is a remarkably lightweight laptop for having such a large display. One of the biggest advantages for me personally is that the case is large enough to support both a full keyboard and a dedicated 10-key, which is something I always look for in a productivity laptop. Display-wise, the screen is pretty solid overall. The IPS panel does a really good job reducing glare, which matters a lot to me because I spend a significant amount of time working in airports and on planes where windows are abundant. The display has a softer appearance that’s easier on the eyes during long sessions, although I do wish the resolution was a little higher. As I’m getting older, I definitely notice the difference more than I used to, and while the current resolution is perfectly usable, I personally would have liked a bit more sharpness for text-heavy workloads. Battery life on this laptop has honestly been excellent. I tested the charging behavior using my wall chargers that display live wattage readings, and the battery tends to draw a max of 77 watts. However, most of the time it seems to operate at roughly half that power draw. This laptop is optimized for efficiency, but despite that, I’ve been running the laptop almost exclusively in Power Mode. I tend to be extremely demanding with my systems. I usually have large Excel files open, tons of browser tabs, so I’m heavy on multitasking workloads. I can occasionally feel the system getting pushed a little bit under my usage style, mainly because of the 16GB of RAM. I suspect most people would find this more than sufficiency though. I’ve spent a significant amount of time on this computer over the past week, and ’ve consistently been getting around 9 to 10 hours of battery life (on power mode), The Windows battery estimator has also been surprisingly accurate. The case itself also feels sturdy given how light the laptop is. My one major complaint is the Titan Black finish, it looks amazing, as long as you don’t touch it. It’s a fingerprint magnet like I’ve never seen, to the point where I don’t even try to keep it wiped down anymore. I doubt you’ll have this experience with their other colors. Performance-wise, I’ve been very impressed with what AMD is currently doing with the Ryzen AI lineup. Their integrated graphics feel significantly more capable than Intel’s integrated graphics. Overall the system feels very optimized for newer AI-assisted operating system features and workloads, and it has a strong performance while not drawing too many watts. One tip I would absolutely recommend, given the low wattage of this device, is go buy a much smaller GaN charger and a quality USB-C cable. The included LG charger is much larger than it needs to be, and since it outputs to a USB-C, there is no reason not to swap out for something smaller and easier to travel with. The thermals have also been excellent. Since the laptop runs at relatively low wattage, it stays cool far longer than you would expect. I was able to comfortably use it directly on my lap for nearly an hour in Power Mode before it even started feeling noticeably warm. Shockingly, it’s a laptop that can be used in your lap. A bonus feature I’ve really enjoyed is how well it integrates into my existing LG setup. I currently use an LG 39GX950B 5K2K monitor that includes a 90W USB-C output, and I’m able to power the entire laptop, essentially like a docking station, directly from the LG monitor using a single USB-C cable. I can also use LGs software to simultaneously run split-screen functionality between this laptop and my other computer. It creates a very clean workstation setup and makes the overall experience feel surprisingly seamless. Overall, I think the LG Gram Book 16 Edge does an excellent job balancing portability, battery life, and heat dispersion. It’s not performance heavy, as it’s optimized for productivity and efficiency. It’s a great solution if you need a big screen with a long battery life.

I am new to the LG gram line of laptops so I did not know what to expect. With that being said after a few days of heavy use, I am in love with this laptop. The performance and flexibility are off the charts good. LG has a real winner here! I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a powerful and portable laptop for general productivity computing tasks. The battery life especially stands out for being above and beyond what is typical. I tend to try to always have my laptops connected to a power source when possible, but did use this laptop on battery power to get a feel for the battery life per charge that I could expect. Under moderate power applications I found that after about 10 hours of use, that I was still well over 60 percent. The gram is rated at up to 26 hours of use. The LG gram box was plain, but still offered some pizazz with the LG signature statement of “Life is Good” printed prominently on the box. Included with the laptop is a USB-C power adapter and product documentation. Once powered on, the product performed a system update that took a few minutes. Once that was done I was up and running. Laptops are one of my favorite devices because I tend to use them extensively and look forward to getting to know my new best friend. Being familiar with laptops, I immediately noticed how lightweight yet well made this laptop felt in my hands. This is my forest black laptop that I have had in awhile so I am enjoying the contrast with my other silver laptops I appreciate the 16 inch screen size because of not only the larger display area but also the full size ten key keyboard which has the keys spaced out slightly more than your typical laptop. The display is essentially 2K and produces excellent picture quality. The screen is bright and detailed. Blacks get quite deep for a non-OLED display. Sound quality is good for a laptop but I am using it with premium headphones. I used this laptop with my go to applications of YouTube, Netflix, Google Docs, and Fandango. I found that this laptop has more than enough processing power to run most general productivity functions with authority. Specs can be just numbers to people, so the bottom line is that if you are concerned about processing power, don't be. The LG Gram can handle most tasks the general user can throw at it with ease. I highly recommend the LG gram laptop, and think that most users will be extremely pleased with the performance of this product. This will be my new daily PC and am looking forward to everything it has to offer.

I have been a fan of LG Gram laptops over the last six years because they come with great configurations and offer them at a reasonable price. I was quickly drawn to the new LG Gram Book 16” 120Hz Touch-Screen Laptop WUXGA AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD of storage. I liked that it was quick to unbox and set up with my own preferred settings and transfer of Windows applications from my prior LG laptop. I knew it would need a few updates for Windows, but it had more than expected once that it connected to my home fiber-based internet connection. I also had more Windows based applications that I selected to download from my other laptops which took a little bit of time. While I waited for the setup to finish, I realized how large the screen was in person and how thin the laptop was compared to others. I liked that it did not weigh much and was easy to handle moving from my office to other areas of the house where I work. When I closed the lid, I realized that there were a bunch of fingerprints all over the lid from me touching the laptop. I used a microfiber cloth to wipe the fingerprints off but am alerting others that if fingerprints showing up bother you that you might want to choose a different optional color. Once all the basics were out of the way I was ready to start experimenting with the speed and the look for the IPS touchscreen with up to 400 nits of brightness were more than adequate for my preferences. I then started becoming familiar with the LG applications: My Gram, gram chat-on device, gram chat Cloud, and LG gram Link. The first application helps take care of PC maintenance issues, security, apps, and customer support. The chat apps are ways to save special information you can share with an AI assistant either on the device or in the Cloud for later. They added the optional Windows Recall feature, but I disabled it due to my own preference to avoid security concerns. If you are satisfied with Windows security protocols, then it is a faster way to find documents or files on your laptop. The last feature I have come to like using is the Co-pilot+ PC feature so you can hit a button to activate it or set up as your preferred AI assistant for searching for or looking for certain information on the internet. The best feature is AI managing the battery power for up to 26 hours of video playback per the company claims. I did not test it for playing videos that long but wanted to see how long it would last with my normal usage of other applications which lasted for over 2 days working up to 8 hours a day without plugging it into power. I also set up the battery use to be efficient and wanted it to go to a maximum of 80 percent on future usage. Regarding the video and sound quality, I was impressed with the Dolby Atmos speakers playing sound with good quality. I was also glad that it had multiple ports, including two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports, and a HDMI port along with a headphone jack. Overall, I was impressed with the lightweight laptop loaded with a great processor, good video card, and wonderful features that checked all my personal preferences. I would recommend this laptop to friends and family.

Works as a reliable daily use computer for work and personal uses. Keyboard is comfortable for typing and its light enough to actually put on you lap. Only down side os the slick looking finish really shows any moisture or oil from fingers and palms. Minor but noticable.

The gram is a great computer at a very affordable cost. Battery life, speed and display are very impressive for a laptop in this price range.

Very durable laptop. The specs are the specs. If you're looking for a computer with more ram, more hard drive space, and a better graphic card, then buy a different computer. This computer does what I want it to do and I dont have to worry if its durability. This laptop is built like a tank.

I gave this LG Notebook a 5-star rating due to the long standing history of reliability and durability. I have been using LG Gram line of notebooks for over 10 years now and picked up this model because of its 16" 120Hz Touch Screen. I know there are other options of the screen resolution and LG even has an OLED option for the display, however this notebook will be my workhorse for trips and home use and at this point I know LG does not disappoint in quality. The reason why I chose the touch screen option is also a simple one: user friendly when needed, there are times you simply want to scroll with your finger complete surveys on a touch friendly PC and this LG is just the right fit when you need to put your check marks. As I mentioned above this notebook will be my travel companion for work and because the Gram series has historically been defined by its weight, this notebook is super portable and light weight and is perfect for business trips. No wonder LG decided to call these series: LG Gram because they don't weigh much and it became the core of the LG brand identity. Another plus is the battery life is awesome in these series. It charges fast with the supplied USB-C cable and lasts me a number of hours on a long flight. I also utilize LG's built-in battery saver and let it charge to 80% each day, that way it prolongs the battery life over its course. This notebook never gets hot on the bottom and has plenty of power for productivity. I find that LG Gram series simply excel at office work, multitasking, and creative light workloads. I find the keyboard to be very comfortable to type on and the touch pad is big enough for navigation. I never ran into any Windows issues and with lots of RAM built in and plenty of storage (1TB of SSD), the user experience is smooth. Another notable feature is this notebook is equipped with AMD’s Ryzen AI processors include dedicated NPUs, which power Windows Copilot+ features (if you use Gemini, it handles it well too) and accelerate tasks like transcription, image generation, and background blurring. I think that this makes AMD Grams feel snappier in everyday multitasking than their Intel equivalents at similar wattages. When I work online, I usually run Spotify or YouTube in the background for music and the notebook runs cool and AMD’s efficiency often results in lower fan noise and cooler chassis temperatures. All in all, I am pretty pleased with the performance and design of my LG Gram and would recommend it to anyone who wants a hassle free experience.

The LG Gram Book in 16" is the perfect balance of performance, portability, and style! This laptop is most definitely a smooth operator. It runs cool and keeps up with all of my multitasking needs, with zero lag. I have done some light gaming as well and it has been no issue, but nothing too GPU intensive. The screen on the Gram is fantastic as well, the fast refresh rate paired with great resolution makes this a joy to watch movies and your favorite TV shows on while you are on the go. Battery life has been no issue, and I have been able to use this for light tasks all day without worry of the battery running out on me. Productivity on this machine is also amazing, spreadsheets and multiple browser tabs run with ease. The front facing camera has a nice privacy shield, and the camera itself has been great for video calls. Conference calling for work was splendid, the microphone and speaker combo on this device is perfectly suited for such use but also shines during loud intense scenes on movies and TV shows. Overall this device really does check all the boxes, and is the perfect travel companion!

The LG gram Book 16 is a LG's Copilot+ ultra portable lightweight 16er with AMD Ryzen AI 7 at it's core. The Ryzen AI 7 445 has a dedicated NPU for AI/Copilot+ functions. The dual channel 16GB LPDDR5X is soldered and not upgradable. However, the 1TB NVMe SSD is expandable with a second M.2 slot, which I added a 2TB Sandisk Optimus GX Pro 850X (PCIe 4.0). The 16-inch IPS (touchscreen) WUXGA (1920x1200) has a 16:10 aspect ratio with 100% sRGB coverage, adaptive 48–120Hz refresh rate, up to ~400 nits brightness, my favorite part of the screen that it is anti-glare/matte. Images/videos are not as crisp but it helps cut down on reflections when working under bright lights or outdoors so it is preferred for my needs. Graphics are handled via the integrated AMD Radeon so this laptop is not looking to take any gaming crowns. The screen/lid is smooth and easy to open and close with one hand. The center FHD IR Windows Hello webcam also has a shutter for those that like to tape their cams (but then Windows Hello don't work) The gram Book 16 comes in at 3.96lbs and 0.64 inches thick in a magnesium-alloy chassis. Typing on this laptop fine since the keys are spaced well. Key travel is typical for a thin and light. While I appreciate the num pad to the left of the QWERTY, it is not of a traditional size and I need to look down at it when crunching numbers. Typical of many laptop these days the power keys is at the top right of the keyboard. I wish it were not the case. I prefer the power button to be off on its own. Thin and lights have a tendency to have some flex and the gram Book 16 is no exception to this. There is flex if I push down on the center of the keyboard but this is not noticible when typing. No creaks outside of the trackpad clicking itself when torquing the bottom deck of the laptop. The only ports found on the gram Book 16 are 2 USB-Cs on the left 1 would be lost for (power/charging), 2x USB A 3.2s, 1 HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Dolby Atmos speakers are fine for watching/listening while working, but I never had high expectations when looking for sound from a thin and light. Wi-Fi 7 would have been nice to see but the WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 get the job done. The 77Wh battery can last me through an 8hr work day with much of that time having the screen on. But the claimed 26hrs seems a bit of a stretch. Not being far from power when I use a laptop, this is usually never a concern for me. Pros -For a 16-inch laptop, it is impressively light and thin. Carrying it daily to and from work adds very little weight to my messenger bag but the slightly larger size makes from my older 14" laptop makes the bag fill out a bit more but I do like having the additional screen real estate. - This is my first AMD laptop in YEARS and the Ryzen AI 7 handles multitasking, office work, web browsing, and backing up data from my phone all smoothly with no hiccups. AI features via Copilot+ and the NPU make searching for answers and files easy. - The 16:10 IPS touch panel is sharp and colorful. Decent brightness for a matte screen. - Battery Life gets me through my day, but could be a con for those that may demand more from a laptop, but then again those people might need to look passed a thin and light. Cons - Integrated graphics combined with the light and thin design mean it will need to prioritize efficiency over high performance graphics. Demanding games, heavy video editing will likely be throttled under load. - ~400 nits is more than fine indoors under office lights but the matte screen under direct sunlight is less than ideal for this type of screen. - The speakers and webcam work well but not premium. The AMD gram Book 16 is general productivity work horse with a big screen without the weight of standard 16-inch machines. It's well-suited for office apps, browsing, streaming, light photo editing, and AI related tasks at a recent price point for it's capability and portability. Gamers, heavy content editors, or anyone looking for top tier performance/power should look elsewhere.

This review is for the LG – Gram Book 16” Copilot+ PC Touchscreen Laptop with AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 Processor with 16GB ram – 1TB SSD. First thoughts when unboxing. Feels very sturdy and durable yet light weight. Which is good as I do a lot of work from my truck. So it will be moving around lot with me. Love the 16-inch screen size. It is big enough to see things easily and to work on without being too big and bulky. It also has a good-sized keyboard with a number pad also. A feature my last laptop didn’t have and I missed it. On one side you will find two USB-C ports a 3.5mm headphone port and an HDIM port. Making it easy to attach an external monitor for when working from home. And on the other side you will find two USB 3.2 ports. So you have plenty of options. The touchscreen itself is very responsive. And the display has crisp clean detail that I can easily see even when in the sun light. The built-in speakers work just fine for my needs. Sounds good when watching movies or just listening to some tunes. I’m mainly just running Microsoft office or QuickBooks online, watching movies or searching the web. But this unit is capable of doing so much more. And the battery life is great. I as able to make it the whole week with me in my truck with out needing to charge it. I would highly recommend this LG Gram Book to friends and family.

This is a very utilitarian laptop, it's not an ultralight or super thin by current standards, but it'll still fit in most backpacks and has enough horsepower to get MS Office tasks and lighter business or school workloads done smoothly, and some content creation would be doable as well. In Cinebench 2026 the Ryzen 7 AI 445 in this laptop is close with an Apple M2, the Ryzen scoring 2221 and the M2 finished at 2336. Has a dedicated NPU to make it "Copilot +" if you prefer to use certain windows features or run LG's own brand of AI assistant that comes pre-installed. Nothing really overwhelming with the performance of this Ryzen chip but it does run cool and is still on the quiet side even when the fans are fully ramped. The I/O is a little disappointing with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 which are 20Gbps, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB-A ports which are 10Gbps, and an HDMI port. Thunderbolt 4 or 5 would have made this a much more attractive package in my opinion. Nice large trackpad and a full Keyboard with number pad on the right side. Overall typing on it feels pretty good and doesn't inspire a lot of mistakes, track pad feels pretty standard nothing fancy. This is a touch screen IPS panel, viewing angles and brightness wont be the best but will provide good color accuracy. Also has dynamic refresh rate, operating between 48hz-120hz, for better battery life and if you do attempt some gaming hopefully a slightly smoother experience. Battery life has been good, I think most will get a full day out of it and by that, I mean 7-8hr of real-world use. I'm sure with the screen brightness turned down watching full screen YouTube you'll get plenty more out of it but for the time I was using it I was hanging around 7hrs before needing to find a wall plug. Overall, a solid productivity laptop, unfortunately with unprecedented RAM and SSD prices you don't get the same value as you would have 2 years ago before this big AI hardware crunch set in.
