Somewhat disappointing.

The battery stays charged due to the solar panel, but I don't see how the number pad is supposed to work, and it loses Bluetooth connection (and often will not reconnect) after rebooting.

Logitech Solar Slim Keyboard for Mac

I am a fan of Logitech peripherals and really like this solar keyboard. It stores energy from whatever light source is available which is very convenient. It connects via bluetooth to up to 3 devices and it's easy to toggle between devices. The reason for 4 stars is because there is a lag in connection to my laptop occasionally (often enough to be a little bothersome). I haven't found any consistent situation that may be causing that. I like the feel of the keyboard, and the keys have a little bit of texture which I find pleasing to type on. I wish there was a num lock key and a light for when caps lock is on, but those are minor issues. Overall, I'm pleased with the keyboard and like that I won't have to remember to charge it or replace batteries thanks to it being solar and artificial light powered.

Easy Bluetooth connection. Enjoy the full size keyboard. Extra characters/function keys above the number pad are hard to get used to when doing data entry.

Good replacement for an Apple keyboard. Works well. Biggest complaint is that the CAPS LOCK does not have a light to tell you it is on. VERY ANNOYING - especially with passwords as they do not automatically show. Logitech - this needs to be fixed!

I’d give this a solid "ehhh, not bad." The solar charging is the main reason to get it—it’s pretty cool never having to plug it in or swap batteries, and it seems to stay at 100% just from my desk lamp. The typing feel is basically like a decent laptop keyboard; it's quiet and low-profile, which is nice if you're over the loud clicky stuff. That being said, it’s definitely not perfect. For the price, it feels a bit "plasticky" and cheap in the hands. The biggest letdown is the lack of backlighting—if you're working in a dim room at night, you’re basically typing blind. Also, it doesn’t have adjustable feet, so you’re stuck with one flat angle. It’s a decent choice if you just want a simple, "set it and forget it" Mac keyboard, but don't expect it to feel like a premium piece of gear.
