You can’t even create an username and password because the system is really bad. That’s why I couldn’t even start and see the main screen I am returning this tomorrow!! FYI!! I just got this today lol What is is computers problem I’ll go change this , I am very frustrated to try to turn on this computer That have to give this laptops for free For only using it as tray And you can only carry your tea. I also got an iPad Pro Believe me it is %100 percent better than MacBook Air Don’t buy as refurbished

So, right out of the box, this does not work! I keep trying to load the computer file with my information and it keeps saying that it can’t use my name and password together. Tried to reset using my Apple ID and it keeps giving me the shaking icon where it’s not working which I’m using on my phone and my watch just fine. So tomorrow I’m gonna have to go to the store and say fix it or give me a new one! This was an open box excellent condition. IMO it should have been tested to make sure the customer will be happy!!!

I am not happy with my purchase from bestbuy, I just bought a MacBook Air and when I unboxed it I could tell something was different about the packaging, and it wasn't packaged like a MacBook when you go to the apple store and buy one(I have 5 other matchbooks bought from apple) and needed to purchase this 6th with a payment plan I thought best buy would be the best option, shortly after using the MacBook, There is problem's with the FaceTime calls, the calls will randomly fail and need me to sign back into my Apple ID over and over, The computer kept popping up error messages and hard restarting on its own, It was not a brand new MacBook I know that for a fact it had to be re-furbished. I went and exchanged it after having a geek squad member take a look into it and it still kept having issues. I had to wait for them to order me a new one, And when I got the new one it was packaged like an original MacBook! but still has the exact same issues if not worse! I have taken pictures of most times it has issues. It is mainly when the computer just heats up and shuts down on it own and deletes the forum I was using online causing delays in my work that infuriates me. These computers cost way too much money to act like this and this is unusable for the purposes I use it for. Im very upset because now I have to go through the hassle of going back to figure out what to do, I will make sure to leave a review on google as well, other people should beware of being charged full price for broken re-furbished computers.

Samsung makes good TVs, but not this one. After 22 months of use several hours per week, the screen developed black splotches and the power started cycling on and off. I probably got a bad early model. But repairs exceed the cost of a new TV, which will not be a Samsung.

Really frustrated with this apple product. spent $1100 but screen damaged with in a year and half. I thought this product would last at least 3-4 years

BestBuy sold me this Geek Squad certified Mac in July 2021 with Apple's "Find My" from previous owner still active. There is screen flicker and still in the manufacturer warranty's period, but I can't reset the Mac. I took it to local Geek Squad and they gave me the run around - that it was online and I need to call an 800 number, and go to Apple etc. I am surprised that Geek Squad does not know how "Find My" works. This was a goof up and an oversight from BestBuy/GeekSquad. Right now the they took the device to wipe it. Some Mac expert in the team thought that it was possible to reset. I have not been able to. Let us see how they handle it. They will lose a customer for life if this won't be handled. And please don't trust Geek Squad certified branding.

This machine only has 2 Thunderbolt ports, no USB, etc. Hard to hook accessories up to, and when I migrated my old MacAir files, it would not connect to the internet through either of my WiFi systems, Apple and BestBuy had no fixes for it, so I had to return it the next day.

I owned the laptop for less than 3 weeks and the screen has black vertical lines. Not only is the screen a problem, the keyboard sticks. I brought it back to the store to Geek Squad expecting a new computer and it was sent to Apple for their decision if Apple will reimburse with Apple credit or refurb the laptop. IT IS LESS THAN 4 WEEKS OLD! Not a happy purchaser.

I returned this product. Talking with the salesperson, I thought I had made it clear that I was looking for the M1 chip and didn't take time to look at the box. I started using it and realized it was not. BestBuy allowed me to return it. I then purchased this, feeling I would be satisfied for the price. It was apparently an open box deal and apparently was a BAD product. I could not get it to work properly. It may have saved me the difference in the price I paid for the MacBook Pro I have since purchase and am content.

Unfortunately the condition in which I bought it was less than I desire open box and was not worth the price besides I had to purchase usb and adapter

This review is for Best Buy and not the product it’s self! Bought the MacBook as a gift and choose to do so at Best Buy rather than directly from Apple. I did this because I wanted to remain as an elite club member. I was really disappointed to find out after the fact that Apple products are excluded from their rewards program. I even mentioned to the representative that I was purchasing from BB and they didn’t say anything about it not qualifying! I am in the process of buying an iPad but will buy it elsewhere because of this!

Came with OS 11.1. Attempted to upgrade to 11.2.1. After spending two days trying, and several calls to Apple tech support, the machine locked up tight. Returned the machine to BestBuy where is accepted without trouble. They had an intel machine in stock and quickly brought it out for me.

The return policy is not good. Only 14 or 15 days. I purchased laptop bag & the strap unraveled now cannot wear over shoulder due to area not sewed well. The visual of area shows how sewed defect compared to the other strap. I went to the store to swap out and was not able to after 14 days I was told to go through manufacture. Very inconvenient!

I love buying at Best Buy. I have been doing it for years. love my Mac and I do not have any issues with the product. However I will never buy Mac product at BestBuy again. Simply because Mac products are excluded from rewards. I received 0 points from this purchase. And that fact alone is enough to discourage me from purchasing again.

New iPhone 12 doesn’t work. Spotty reception (Verizon). News won’t refresh. Slow operation. Paid for the phone outright but can’t get Verizon to unlock so that i can get a differ carrier. Have literally spent hours on the phone (when it doesn’t drop the call) with both Verizon and Apple tech support.
