Over the past couple of years EA Sports has really stepped up their game with their player mechanics and a.i, everything is smooth and it's harder to throw the ball, it's a great game and looks amazing on xbox one x

Gameplay and graphic-wise, this is the best madden yet. The fact that the game runs on the Frostbite engine is awesome and makes for a beautiful fun game. They still need improvements to continue to have a reason to release yearly. The “story mode” is absolutely pointless. SPOILERS!!!! You never play an NFL game in this mode.

Madden 18 definitely adds a lot to the franchise, which is nice. Longshot is a welcome addition, and a pretty enjoyable story. There are still a lot of bugs to be worked out, but there are still patches coming out. MUT is becoming aggressively pay to win, but it is still my favorite mode.

This is the one game that I buy every year. This game gets better every year. I really wish they would bring John Madden back as a commentator for a couple of special games or something. I really love how they ease you into the game this year, and make the games very easy starting off. They also give you a few good players to start this year which is a huge plus so you don't have to spend a bunch of money to get a half-way decent team to play the challenges in the beginning. Some of the challenges are very hard, and it will take some practice. If you are on the fence about this game, Buy it. You will love it.

Once again EA Sports have outdone themselves with this game. Graphics are incredible and the game is a lot more realistic then ever has been. Quality game.

Got this game for my 14 year old son for his birthday and he has been playing it non stop for days. Graphics are amazing! It look so real.

As a long standing Madden buyer/player (Every season since 06) This is by far the worst Madden Game to ever come out. This one was so bad I mentioned that I wish I could return it (of course you can't) it was said I could instead trade it in somewhere else. At the mere thought that another person would have to suffer the aggrevation of such a horrible and poorly developed release I instead ejected the disk from my Xbox, took a pair of snips and began cutting the disk in half knowing that I am saving some poor soul from wasting his money on this game as I had. It sounds errational and like a tantrum buy I assure you it was not. Everything from the ridiculous announcers who once again sound like complete fools that are calling a game their not even watching, to the idiocy of forcing you to kick and punt blindly. Yes EA in their infinite wisdom has removed the trajectory line that you have always used to aim and determine your kicks to that of an immediate fading line so that you only know where the ball was originally aimed. This aspect may have been a nice feature if you could turn it off/on but no, they instead made it a part of the game with no way to circumvent. The new Story mode was the only good aspect that came out of this version. I am happily back to playing '17 and will certainly wait before purchasing another one of EA's Madden Games.

This game is better than in the past because of the addition of the story line (story mode). Haven't gotten too far into yet, but it seems really good!

What I truly appreciate is the simplicity of controls despite the wealth of details/content. No matter your age or level of knowledge, one can easily jump into a game and enjoy one of the most realistic sport simulations. The Madden Ultimate is great for the fantasy player and/or sports card collectors, though some of the challenges can become mundane after a few weeks.

The running is superb, the Jukes are awesome, the interceptions are cool. The graphics are the best that has been made in 5 or 6 years. I also love the 3 vs 3 add in. The only thing that I don't like is that it's hard to get players can't seem to get enough coins it's a bit difficult. Otherwise the best madden game thus far.

The game is Awesome! Graphics are amazing. Looks like the playbook has been expanded. All in all a very solid game.

I have never owned a Madden game before, but I am sure glad I purchased this one. Madden 18 provides so many different challenges and game styles. The only part I do not care for is the Longshot Story Mode.

I personally don’t like sports games but this was purchased for my stepson who loves football and is great at it. So if you love all the old Madden games, this is definitely a must buy to your collection.

Madden has been around forever and keeps finding ways to stay relevant and improve from year to year. There have been some bumps in the road but Madden is still a must buy every year.

I have always loved the Madden Franchise and will continue to play it. There are many things i would love added and many things that just seem like fluff. All in All great game!

Beautiful images greatly improved from last year. Love the Longshot mode. Downfall is the gameplay has vastly changed players ability to catch deep passes and made it very difficult to play. I threw like 3 picks back to back when playing. It’s as it you can’t throw deep passes...

Ultimate Team is really the only thing to do on here. It’s the same stuff, but I’m not sure what else Madden can do. The new mode was alright to play as the HS QB, i get sucked into buying this game every year and end up playing for a month or two.

You have to buy the game with the G.O.A.T on it right? Well, the gameplay is exceptional and is a must have for any football fan.

Great graphics, excellent game play and re-playability. Very nice dynasty features allow for multi faceted play opportunities.
