i looked at this dryer because the controls were at the top, and since im not mounting it, i needed that. i was looking for a small dryer i could use in my apartment and i needed it to have a real vent. it needed to use a standard outlet, so i knew it couldnt be a bigger model. this one reminded me of the one my grandmother had for rainy days (she hung her laundry outside). im so happy i chose this. fits a regular single load of laundry, i am able to vent it out my window with a vent kit i got at home depot. for heavier stuff it does take almost 2 cycles, but its not a 220 connection, so i figured it would take longer, but at least its vented. those ventless models take forever and leave stuff damp. i dont recommend the automatic cycles as they stop when your clothes are at 40% humidity. i did 10 loads of laundry in 2 days. yes ..10. it worked like a champ. clothes got dry, and its super quiet absolutely worth every penny.
