Unfortunately, it was the only Oculus protective, carrying case option available in-store at BestBuy. Sturdy, hard protective case, but the handle is short and does not have an adjustable strap to give options of ways to carry the case (e.g. over your shoulder).

Too much & not worth what you get. Sure the case is fancy but it doesn’t work well.

This is overall a good quality case but there are some issues. One week after owning this the little pull strap that is on the zipper fell off somewhere and I lost it. This missing strap makes it very difficult to open or close this case without it on the zipper. Minus 1 star. Then if you ever end up upgrading your original strap on the Oculus, be prepared to look for another case. It will likely not fit. Especially if you are looking at a 3rd party version of the Oculus elite strap like I have. The buckle portion of the strap that fits behind your head will end up being to tall for when you store the quest in the case, resulting in you not being able to actually close the case for protection. This really needs to be in the product description, I guess it could be a tactic to get you to buy the Oculus elite strap and not a 3rd party version, so be aware of this possibility. If you do have a 3rd party elite strap you probably need to do more research. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Minus another star. It is 3 stars because the fit and finish of the case is good, if you have all Oculus accessories. You wont have any problems with storage in that scenario. The actual build of the case is hard enough that it will do a good job of protecting with any normal everyday bumps and falls. Unfortunately I am now looking for a different case because of my aftermarket strap fitment issue.

So I'm going to give this just an average review because the Pro's and Con's are about equal. Pro's: Holds the Quest and the handles very neatly. also has space for the USB cable and cleaning cloth and a few other small accessories. It is super light and easy to carry and fits in a backpack. Con's: It just feels cheap, especially for the price. The zipper sticks almost constantly so you have to back up and start over. And I know it's not just a kink in one spot because it happens at random spots. When it's unzipped I feel like the top is just going to fall off. So, for the money, I think you can find a better aftermarket case but this one does do the job it is intended for.

This was a little bigger than I expected, but it does the job. I was so used to having my Oculus Go carrying case fit perfectly in carry-on luggage or a backpack, but this huge Q2 pill size shape will take up a lot of room. The positive of this design is you can pack a lot more inside other than just the Q2 and cables... I've tucked in a full sized XB1 controller inside along with many more sets of charging cables and adapters for my other devices. I'm really disappointed in the closure/zipper mechanism. It's an extremely awkward zipping from the inside via a very flimsy synthetic pull that feels like it will tear any minute, leaving you with paranoia about how you'd unzip the thing if that were to ever happen. Definitely add extra loop material to the zipper head.

Ok case. Don’t like the white color. Can pick up dirt and stains easily. Zipper doesn’t always work easily. Snug fit for quest 2 and controllers. It will hold them in place and kee them safe.

I'm not really a fan of this design. The zipper is microsized with a black string I keep thinking is going to break. It no longer has the part that opens inside. I use to store my cable, power block, and extra controller batteries in the quest 1 case. This doesn't have that. It's also somewhat confusing figuring out how to store the controllers, but I think I have it down now. At least the quest fits perfectly, I can still sorta store extra stuff, and I can fit it easily into my day bag. Worth getting for the slim design, but otherwise, I'd suggest getting another off brand version.

It has a nice hard case, but did not protect my headset strap. It could have been my own fault, or the head straps, thus the three, but my head strap was snapped during my move.

I'm not really a fan of this case, it's kinda ugly, grabs cat hair like there's no tomorrow, it's too small, and the materials don't feel like they're the best, I wouldn't trust this case to protect my Quest were it to get knocked to the floor or anything, but barebones it gets the job done as a carrying case. I wish it were a little bigger on the inside though as everything gets crammed in, especially if you also add the official link cable. There's no space for the extras like the fit masks and such either. My biggest pet peeve, however, is the fact that when you zipper it shut, due to there being so little space inside the case the zipper gets caught on the side wire of the charging cable of the elite battery pack (if you happen to have one installed on your Quest) and it was a massive pain to open the case without breaking the zipper or ripping the side cable. I've heard others complain about this exact problem as well so I know it's not just me. I remedied this by placing a thin strip of cardboard along the zipper seam on the side where the charging wire is between the cable and the zipper every time I close it I place it there and zipper and unzipper with more ease. It's not a perfect solution but lets me get the most out of my case for all it's worth without damaging my case or more importantly my Quest and elite battery charging cable. I also don't like that the case can be purchased separately, but you can't seem to buy the battery pack without the case. I bought this case for my husband's Quest as I got the case already with my battery pack, but now he's annoyed that the battery packs are sold out, and when they eventually restock them he'll be forced to buy another case with the battery pack as they're sold as a forced set, and we'll have a spare case no one wants or needs.

Hold your gear perfect. Nice feel to it, kinda looks like a giant Google Home mini but oval. That stupid string for a zipper pull, fire the clown that came up with that! Might be better options out there at a more affordable price tag. If you are just buying a basic setup 64GB or 256GB. No deluxe head strap and not leaving the house, then I feel the box that it came in is good enough and already paid for. I had to knock two stars off, one the price, two that stupid string.

Super light and easy to transported. Fits everything inside easily.

This is the case from meta and fits perfectly including when adding the extended headstrap. The form is really nice and it looks cool. The reason for 3 stars is that the zipper seems weak and if headstrap is bulging out slightly, the zipper gets stuck which happens frequently and is annoying.

My kid likes it. I guess it does the job for him. I’m more logical this is useless. Every time I write a not so favorable review it doesn’t want to post it

This is the only case that I am aware of that is made for the Oculus Quest 2 so if you want to protect it at all, this is your choice. I personally think it is overpriced at 50 dollars. It is made of hard felt less than a cm thick and has a low profile zipper that occasionally sticks. It looks good but is merely a shell with a zipper I would not trust it against any sort of impact.

This does its job, but not very easily. The configuration inside doesn’t make it easy to get the handles in place properly. I’ve managed to make it work, it the handles aren’t properly stored away. I think if I had it to do again I’d go with something a little larger with more space.

This carrying case is a fine solution for the storage and transportation of the Quest 2 headset. It holds the headset in place firmly, providing just enough room for the headset (if you use prescription lens inserts, I find they fit fine), controllers*, elite strap, usb c cable, earbuds, and power brick. The first issue I encountered is the way you have to wedge the controllers in to the case for them to not rattle around whenever the case is moved. The insert inside the case isn’t clear on positioning, and when I match the method found within the product pictures the controllers are not securely in place. There is, however, a way to make the controllers fit; you can wedge the controllers with their base in the outer ring of the other controller and then push it into the case, applying a little pressure to have then positioned at the bottom of the case. The second issue is the construction quality of the case: it’s not befitting of its price. It feels too thin to protect the device from a drop, and the material feels of a low quality.

This is a nice compact case but the meta fits in there weird it drives my son crazy every time he puts it in there and it should’ve been able to charge it while it’s in the closed instead you have to leave it open which defeats the purpose

It isn’t bad, the size is nice and it makes it easy to carry around. It also works with the pro head strap which I was a bit concerned about. But $50 is way to expensive. You can spend $30 on a case roughly the same size that has better protection and more room to add accessories.

The strap that holds it, im kind of scared to carry the case by it. The interior is ok. I bought controller grips and they wont fit in the case with those on. It does fit the elite strap but if the strap had a battery attachment it would not fit. For its price, not impressed
