On September 20th, I made an appointment for the meta rayban display demo. On October 12th, I received a text message saying the demo is cancelled, no reason implied, and it’s on the date RIGHT before the appointment, I literally dropped all my plans for the demo day so it pretty much ruined my entire day. On October 13th, I took the plunge and made a 3 hours of trip driving all the way from Canada to the United States bearing the risk. Thankfully the meta representative was actually there, it made me more doubtful as why my appointment was cancelled but I brushed it off. The meta representative were very flexible and after knowing I drove 3 hours from my place, he made an exception and did the demo for me. As I was expecting that I will be getting a pair and walk out with them after the demo, but the reality: nothing in stock, item back-ordered. I still ended up making an online order SOLELY because it shows “next-day shipment” on the system. I was genuinely excited, thinking I’d finally get my hands on the product, but that excitement quickly turned into frustration when I realized it was all a false promise. Back to the present. Well you might have guessed it. It’s October 24th, I still have NOT seen any shipping progress, not the mention if I received the product or not. It says the item is still delayed and it will be CANCELLED on October 28th but I did not receive any email or text message notifying or reasoning about. I have contacted bestbuy customer service agent multiple times, all they are telling me is what is showing on my order status. Well what can I do now? I’ve invested too much effort and energy into this piece of tech I still haven’t gotten my hands on. (Maybe waste would be a better verb in this case)

The tech is not there. This is obviously a waste of money. The only thing you can really do is read. Your text messages on your screen and the glasses are way too big. And then they only last 6 hours for $868. If not worth the money.

First, thanks for trying the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. As this is a newly released device, we understand it may take some time to get used to it. We do have a useful resource we can recommend, and which you'll find on our website: How to use Meta Ray-Ban Display.
You can adjust font size to improve readability through the Meta AI mobile app:
- From the Meta AI mobile app, tap in the bottom right.
- Tap Setting icon.
- Swipe down and tap Vision below Accessibility.
From here, you can:
- Tap Text size and weight to adjust the size of text on your display or to make text bold.
The Display glasses indeed offer up to 6 hours of mixed-use battery life per charge. To maximize the battery life, you can try enabling Battery Saver mode in the Meta AI app.

The worst purchase interaction ive ever had. First i had to drive to a best buy what was an hiur away. The person who assisted me was almost 20 min late to my appointment which knky took about 7 min. The person that "helped" me never hasked for my prescription which i had i. Hand. They said inwoukd be provided a link via email where i could putchase the glasses. After i got the link 20 min later, there was no option to enter in a prescription. I immediately co tacted best buy where i was bounced around to 4 different people. The last of which tokd me to buy the glasses and then add a prescription. That was a lie. I was told i could do this at a ray-bay location. Rayban said this was not a service they provide. You can only do this at the time of order. Now i have a $900 pair of eye wear i cant see with because im past the return date trying to figure out how to get my prescription into these glasses.

The product is great but I give it one star because there’s no clear direction on replacing the lens with prescription lenses unless you buy directly from Meta, any other distributor needs to know this I had to return mine because no one will touch the lenses due to the technology

This product is too heavy and uncomfortable to wear. The neural band quality is poor, made of plastic, and doesn’t seem premium. The charger is also plastic. I highly recommend against buying this product.

I received the glasses damaged on the left side screw was missing from the handle and the when playing music the speaker was doing cracking noise that was annoying.

Not giving the product 1 star but Best Buy! They sent the wrong size frame. I returned them and had to be put back on the list.

Horrible experience with the way product is setup for buyers. You go into the store for demo without product being available. Secondly, your order but not available until months later. During demo, noticeable glitches and quite frankly, needs time before it will be a smooth running product.

We're sorry to hear the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses haven't met your expectations and you're experiencing connectivity issues. This isn't the experience we want for you to have.
Often, a simple Bluetooth reset can fix this. Please try forgetting the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing the glasses via the Meta Horizon app.
