I wish all the games were on the cart and did not require a download. The audio quality was not that great either. Having these games portabley is a game changer.

A great collection muat have for any metal gear fan. I just wish it had the Twin Snakes version of mgs1.

What Works Very Well • For fans or first-timers, having all these classic titles in one place is a major plus. Customer reviews frequently cite nostalgia + portability as pros. • Bonus content (graphic novels, soundtrack, screenplays) adds nice extras for completionists and fans of the lore Where It Falls Short • Technical performance on the Switch is a weak spot. According to a detailed technical breakdown by Digital Foundry/Nintendo Life: the Switch versions of MGS2 and MGS3 are locked at 30fps, have resolution/anti‐aliasing issues, and performance drops in several instances.  • Presentation and packaging feel less than ideal. For example, the collection installs as separate apps (one per game) rather than a unified menu, which reviewers saw as “absurd” and clunky. • The physical cartridge version is misleading for some Switch buyers: only some games are on the cart, with others requiring digital download. This has frustrated players who expected everything on the card. • Some of the legacy game designs/controls feel dated—while that’s understandable given the age of the titles, new players may find aspects of gameplay (e.g., aiming, movement) awkward.

I was aware of this, but the biggest flaw of this collection is how little data is on the catridge for a physical release. Not including the novels, MGS 1, 2 and 3 add up to about 30 gbs of download data. Other than that, the presentation and content are very nice, especially if you're new to Metal Gear. Hopefully we get MGR Reveangance in Volume 2

It's portable Metal Gear Solid, and it's all the games. Make sure you make room for the games and some bonus materials. Wish they would have spent a bit of time cleaning up the ports and making them feel smoother. As it is I'd still recommend picking this up. Just wait till it's on sale.

While it is a bummer to have to download certain things (like the comic like movies and language packs to play integral), it is one of if not my favorite game to play on switch. I personally think it runs great you get hours of interesting story and dang good gameplay (in my opinion). If you do not have it for any other platform already and you enjoy games in bed or on the go i highly recommend this for you.

The games are pretty good and still hold up but I'd only recommend buying for $20 or less

The games look great on the switch and run smoothly. However I have a issue with the fact the game requires to be downloaded through internet. Meaning if you do not have internet and buy this game, you will basically not be able to play. I think only MGS1 is on the cartridge itself. Also the second main issue is the fact that MGS2 runs at 30 fps instead of 60 fps like the ps2 version. But this is the best way to play the game at a small form factor imo. I will say though I bought the game on sale for $20.

Great collection of some of my favorite games of all time. Hours of fun. My only complaint is that the switch version requires everything to be downloaded onto a microSD card. Don’t know what the benefit is of buying the physical copy over the digital if I still have to download everything.

For $20, it’s a solid deal. Three good games all packaged together. If you’re into stealth gaming, here’s your chance to experience some video game history.

These are classic games. When this first launched it was okay, but recent patches have made it much more impressive on the Switch 2.

The game is good, but so much of it needs to be downloaded. It really defeats the purpose of having a physical version when you have to download +10GB worth of the game.

It’s amazing to have these legendary games on Switch, but the performance could be better. Some resolution and frame rate issues make it feel like a lazy port. Still, if you’re a Metal Gear fan, it’s great to have these classics in one collection.

Good list of classic games that I haven't played in a long time.Didn't work the first few times I stuck it in my switch 2 but then it started working first game that's ever done that to me but whatever

If you're a metal gear solid fan, you'll love this collection. It's the first 3 metal gear solid games in all of its glory untouched. So go out and pick up a copy before. It's no longer available you won't regret it.

great collection of Metal Gear games, but you have to download. Also, performance could be better

Fun game if you like stealth action game and/or an MGS fan but it takes a while to download all the games/extra content. Highly recommend a large SD card and fast wi-fi.

Great game and even better collection and works great on switch 2

I think this collection only has metal gear solid for the original PLAYSTATION, as well as Metal Gear for both MSX and NES, Snakes Revenge, and Metal Gear 2: solid snake as well as all the extras on the cartridge.

This is a great way to play MGS 2 and 3. MGS 1 is a bit rough on here, but playable. Plus the collection does have MGS 1 the digital graphic novel so you can still experience the story of the first game on the switch. Overall, a great collection
