    Dash kit needed for 2016 Jeep Patriot

    My 2016 Jeep Patriot was in need of a touch screen radio with satellite capability as I am a SirusXM subscriber. The Kenwood 7in touch screen with back up camera was the extra tech I was looking at making my ride more up to date. The Kenwood deck with SiruusXM receiver and the steering wheel control along with the back up camera were all purchased on a Saturday and by Monday I was able to get in for the install. The in dash kit to make it look OEM was spot on.The professional installer stated this would take about 3 to 4 hours. The complete install only took 3 hours and I was back on the road. The installation looked like it was factory installed as it all was a seamless match and everything worked flawlessly. The installer showed me exactly on how everything would work. Top notch installers at the Menomonee Falls WI location.

    Everything looked Nice and Neat!

    Initially, I was worried about how getting a new, non factory, radio would look and it would be aesthetically pleasing or Jimmy rigged. Much to my surprise, everything looks extremely nice and neat with this kit! I’m definitely satisfied and it does not look like a homemade job

    Dash kit

    When I first wanted to make this purchase of buying a new radio for my Jeep wrangler. Though I’m not savvy with car electronics, I was aware of needing the dash kit to fit my radio in my jeep. It’s nice no issues at all.

  • I was told this will fit a double din so I ordered it but once the package made it to my home I looked at it and it doesn't seem like it can fit a double din?

    It will fit, use the side brackets and the side pieces, thin rectangles. There are two sets, use the ones that will fill the void in the dash. You won’t be using the biggest piece in the set, that is for a single.
