If you can throw in an extra hundred or two you are better off getting a pixel or a better samsung phone. The Motorola Edge 2025 was okay at best. The chip it has it horrible as I lagged continuously throughout applications. Opening the camera was always a chore as it bugged out every.single.time. The screen is nice, however, it scratches extremely easy. Best thing about the phone would be the battery and speakers. I genuinely believe you can buy a better phone around the same amount. I used it for about a year then switched back to apple on the iphone 16 for a hundred dollars more than what i paid for this. Do better with your chips motorola and for love of god acknowledge your products, they released this phone and its like they forgot about it.

The volume buttons are too close to the power button which creates a problem when using the respective feature. Also, resetting requires two buttons be depressed. Resetting is a standard operation which should not require the simultaneous depressing of two buttons. In 30 years of using cell phones, definitely one of the worst.

Lags constantly. Can't receive phone calls half of the time and when you pick up, you can't hear the other side. Camera takes a full 5 seconds to boot up. Motorla makes abysmal phones. Only redeeming feature is its battery life. You can leave it uncharged for two days.

The phone is good, but NOT water resistant, and not per Motorola's product description. Motorola specifies this phone to be: IP68 rated which means "total protection against water ingress, up to and including complete submersion below one meter and for more than 30 minutes." Their website even says "Exposure to conditions beyond this rating are not covered by warranty." ... which implies that situations within this spec, should be covered? However, Motorola will not stand behind this specification. My phone was briefly covered by approx. 3 inches of water for a few seconds. (Well within the IP68 standard.) But Motorola says this is not covered under warranty, and even their escalation team says they will not stand behind their product statement. - Buyer Be Warned (I had this phone for 4 months.)

Loved it and worked great for 2 months then the problems started. The battery life is half what it was when I first got it. For the last 2 weeks it has been randomly restarting whether I am using it or not up to 20 times a day every day. I have tried everything from deleting all my apps to a full factory reset and it is still restarting. I have had other Motorola phones and liked them very much. This is the first one to give me troubles like this and from what I have found, the edge 2024 is known for its issues. It is not worth the aggravation or the money.

This phone has been VERY glitchy, most especially when trying to use it with basic Bluetooth functions. It messes up allot when I use it with my earbuds, my car, and with my watch.
