This is my first Android phone since I switched to Apple about 6 years ago. Happy to say this is a really good choice. Photos come out good and the battery life is really great on this. Fast charging is really convenient when you need it. The performance is really snappy. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is the material on the back is not as durable as I was hoping. The corners show signs of wear since I just put it in my pocket. The phone is only a couple of months old and I don't really want to put a case on it since I like the form factor of it.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Austin. We’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying your first Android phone, its camera, battery life, fast charging, and overall performance. We understand your concern about the back material and wear on the corners. While the phone is designed to be durable, using a case can help protect the form factor and keep it looking new over time. Pros: - Had the best price at Best Buy at the time of purchase. - Both SIM and eSIM - Good size RAM and Internal memory - Relatively newer bluetooth and WiFi - Relatively good screen view and brightness Cons - Supposed to come with android 15 according to sales person, but it came with android 14 (so probably will have only one upgrade to android 15).

The Motorola Edge 2025 delivers a very smooth experience with a bright display, fast performance, and excellent battery life that easily lasts a full day. The camera quality is surprisingly good for the price, especially in daylight, and the clean Android experience makes everything feel fast and easy to use. Charging is quick, the design feels premium, and overall it offers great value compared to other phones in the same range.

The Motorola Edge 2024 really impressed me. The 256GB storage is more than enough for apps, photos, and videos without constantly worrying about space. Performance is smooth, with apps loading quickly and multitasking feeling effortless. The display is bright, sharp, and great for streaming or gaming. Battery life easily lasts a full day, even with heavy use, and charging is quick. The Midnight Blue finish gives it a sleek, premium look that stands out without being flashy. Unlocked flexibility is another big plus—works perfectly with my carrier and makes switching easier. A strong option if you want flagship-level performance at a more affordable price point.

Overall good. Pros Excellent Display: Sharp, bright, and fluid 120Hz OLED. Premium Design: Lightweight, comfortable, and stylish vegan leather back. Great Battery & Charging: Long-lasting with fast 68W charging. Good Camera Versatility: Includes a 3x telephoto zoom. Cons Mid-range Performance: Processor lags behind competitors like the Pixel 9a. Software Support: Motorola's, or Android's, update policy is considered poor. Bloatware: Comes with many pre-installed, unnecessary apps.

Ok camera, great battery life, very durable lasted 6 months with no case. Not a very big fan of the edge cuz of my big fingers always seem to touch it somewhere and prevent usage. System is ok as long as you keep it below 50%memory after that it bogs down very easily. But price is decent need a. Better camera though

It's a good phone with plenty of storage. I like the wireless charging so my USB port is intact after years of use. After I purchased it I realized it didn't have a microSD card slot like other models (- 1 star). Even the 2021 Edge had a microSD. I wish they could have spent the extra $0.50 to include one. I like the battery overcharging protection so will likely not have to replace my battery as much as I had to with the 2021 version. The battery life is pretty good and I easily get a full day out of it. Overall I like the 2025 version better. The camera quality is good, but haven't tested everything. I suggest getting the FNTCASE which is a magnetic case that allows wires mounting and charging for use in a car. Use a Qi or Qi2 compatible wireless charger.

I've owned a lot of Motorola phones over the years, and I must confess, the general impression left by media reviewers is probably pretty accurate. That is, Moto phones were solid, competent devices that didnt quite match up with iphones or Samsung Galaxy's. They did, however, have the advantage of being significantly cheaper. Lately, Motorola has been making moves to catch with its competitors. Its introduction of the Edge line is a direct shot across the bow of the Iphone and Samsung, with the Edge line moving Motorola from the merely competent category to the pretty good category. The Moto Edge 2024 is a direct hit on the big boys! The Edge 2024 is a wonderful phone, an absolute and total success. Technically, its a midrange model with a 2nd tier Snapdragon 7, generation 2 processor. However, it runs fast and smooth and you would be hardpressed to tell the difference between it and competitor flagship models. Sure, the nerds can run their lab tests and point to differences in metrics, but im telling you this phone is fast and smooth enough. And then there is the screen. The Edge 2024 screen is gorgeous. Its very sharp and has good saturation. Somebody has gone to a lot of trouble to calibrate it because it has the feel of something that is well balanced and just right. Images and streamed videos are spectacular to behold. Design wise, the phone is sized just right. It's not a giant puffed up monstocity that barely fits into your pocket, but its not so compact that your fingers feel like giant sausages trying to mash tiny letters and numbers. Some might say it feels a little light, as if the materials its made of are not substantial. This would be a fair observation. However, some compromises have to be made to make the phone the bargain it is. The performance remains spot on. The camera system is good and capable of good photos and videoes. However, this is the one area where iphones and Samsung retain an advantage. Not long ago, i purchased an iphone 15 plus. In theory, this phone was in the top of the line class, and it is a good phone. But when the moto edge 2024 came out, it was cheap enough and intriguing enogh, i just had to give it a try. Im glad i did. Im overjoyed with the edge and often reach for it rather than the iphone

I love the Motorola Edge series. I have had every Edge since 2020. The Edge 2024 is very solid. I bought it to replace my Edge 2023 but I returned it as it was exactly like the 2023 Edge. Sure, the cameras might have been a tad better? But the Edge 2023 was slimmer, the POLED display is just as good, it is lower priced as it has been on sale for 6+ months at $200-$300 off!! I also prefer the Mediatek Dimensity 7030 in the 2023 Version as it does not overheat nearly as much as the Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 which can be found in the 2024 model. The sad thing about the Edge series is that they keep making them in dark blue or black. What happened to the nice Magenta Edge Fusion 2022? Heck, Motorola put nicer colors on the Power 5G 2024 and Stylus 5G 2024. I will trade my 2023 in for the Razr 2024 in Orange when they knock a couple of hundred bucks off the price!

Does everything you want, nothing you don't. Good performance throughout. Photos have plenty of detail and don't seem over sharpened. No real issue with focus hunting and night photos turn out fine. Phone never gets hot in day to day use. No issues on any of the three networks. Cases are hard to come by and good glass screen protectors are non existent due to the curved edges and the phone not being popular.

This phone has a super fast processor. It was really easy to transfer all of my data to the new phone. Being so new it is a little harder to get certain accessories for it (an Otter box case). I am happy with the phone and enjoy finding out all of the updated things this one does over my old phone.

Strong all-round performance for price — Users often praise the phone’s “snappy” speed, smooth multitasking, and overall “fast enough” performance for everyday tasks like apps, browsing, social media, and light gaming. Impressive display — The 6.6″ pOLED screen with 144 Hz refresh rate offers smooth scrolling and bright, vivid visuals. Good for streaming, videos, and casual gaming.

Motorola has always been a good phone for me. I typically get 4 years on the phone before I upgrade to newer one. For the price point you get all normal features and quick operating system and a a reasonable price. I also work in construction and my phones take a beating and the Motorola holds up. I do upgrade to the Otterbox case since I am hard on my phones.
