I like the phone a lot, though there is a lot of bloatware (apps and features from Motorola I don't want or need that cannot be uninstalled completely). The app drawer also cannot be organized alphabetically when the apps are in folders, which seems like a very basic feature to be missing. The folders can only be sorted by the time they were created. If these two things weren't issues, it'd be a 5 star phone, as far as I'm concerned. The camera is good for my needs (taking photos of friends, my partner, and pets), though I do have a Nikon camera for more high quality shots. The only game I play that could be at all considered RAM-intensive is Alto's Odyssey, a side-scrolling endless runner game. I haven't noticed any issues with it or when watching shows and movies on streaming. I'm also a little disappointed that the default Moto Note app doesn't support palm rejection when using the stylus, but there are other apps I like better for handwritten notes that do have it, and palm rejection works well in those apps. Overall the stylus works pretty well, though I've had to jiggle it a little to get it out of the stylus garage (or whatever it's called) if dirt gets between the stylus and the edge of the garage. Other things I really like are the size of the screen, weight of the phone (it's lighter than my last phone, a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, even though the S21 is a quarter of an inch shorter), and the gestures for turning the flashlight on/off and opening the camera. I recommend the phone for people who are familiar with android settings and don't mind having to turn off features they don't like. Or those who don't mind the bloatware, I suppose.

Hi Alex, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the overall performance, display size, lightweight design, camera quality for everyday use, and features like the gestures and stylus functionality. We also appreciate your comments regarding the preloaded apps and folder organization in the app drawer. While some Motorola apps are part of the system experience and cannot be fully removed, many can be disabled or managed through Settings > Apps, and we understand that preferences around this can vary. Your feedback about app drawer organization and folder sorting is also helpful and will be shared with the relevant team for review.
Regarding the stylus and Moto Note experience, it’s good to hear that third-party apps are working well for your needs, and we appreciate you pointing out the palm rejection behavior in different apps. For the stylus getting slightly stuck, keeping the stylus area clean from dust or debris can help ensure smoother removal. If you have any other concerns or if something isn’t working as expected, please feel free to contact us at supportforums@motorola.com with your device details, and we’ll be happy to help further. -Mitch

The Motorola Moto G Stylus 2025 offers a smooth display, decent battery life, and the convenience of a built-in stylus at an affordable price. Everyday tasks, note-taking, and media consumption work well. However, camera performance is inconsistent, and occasional lag can be noticeable with heavier apps. Overall, it's a good mid-range device with a few compromises.

Hi Rahul, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the display, battery life, and the convenience of the built-in stylus, though we’re sorry that camera performance has felt inconsistent and that you’ve noticed occasional lag with heavier apps. To help improve performance, we recommend ensuring your device is updated to the latest software version, restarting the phone regularly, and keeping sufficient storage available. It can also help to close unused background apps and clear the cache for apps such as the Camera. Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage & cache > Clear cache. Clearing the cache will remove any temporary files being stored by the device. Make sure both the Camera app and Google Play services are up to date. If the concern persists after trying these steps, please send us an email at supportforums@motorola.com, and we will be happy to assist you further from there. -Mitch

The Motorola moto g stylus looks good and has a good feel and grip. However, I kept getting messages that my memory is low when it is not. Lots of ads as well. I decided to return it for a different brand.

The Motorola stylus is okay, but a bit clumsy to use and insufficient guide information. Sure, go online and search for answers is time consuming. I don't think I'll buy another Motorola phone anytime soon .
