Perfect for PS5, comes with a built in heatsink so you just plug n’ play. Heatsink is small enough so you can still close the PS5 m.2 slot with system cover, which sony directs us to do to allow best for the best cooling. the 1TB model is the sweet spot, good price and value. Read speeds well above sony’s minimum recommended for the PS5. Highly recommend.

It's a perfect internal SSD for PS5. No need to worry about heatsink and super easy to install.

This drive is fast. Used for a new PC build. It's fast. My one gripe, which I am not deducting any stars, is that I can't remove the drive from the heatsink, because I wanted to use my motherboard's heatsink. Not a big deal but something a buyer should know. If you are purchasing for a PC I would probably get the drive without the heatsink. Would not hesitate to get this drive and with the prices have fallen since I purchased this these are great buys for whatever your need - PS5 or PC

Super easy to install into my PS5. If you're installing an ssd into your PS5, be careful not to strip the screw. Keep that screw driver at a 90 degree perpendicular angle and apply a decent amount of downward force. Games load fast on this ssd. The fastest ssd you can get for the PS5. Although the 2tb version has a faster write speed. 1tb version still blows all the other nvme ssds out of the water.

Im no expert but this is an incredibly fast SSD. Read and write speeds are some the best in the market and best of all it's PS5 compatible. It also comes with a data recovery service and heatsink already installed in this version. I recommend leaving at least a quarter of storage space left in the SSD when installing games, because read speeds start to slow down if the SSD is getting really full. Taking seconds to format and simple to screw into the console, its easily a great purchase.

Works for my PS5. Wanted additional storage for games. It was detected immediatley after installing and powering the console on. Using the internal storage means you don't have to move games back and forth from storage to the console to play them. A little pricey though.

Bought the Seagate Firecuda 530 SSD for my Playstation 5 and highly recommend it.

This is the best hard drive for the PS five read & write times way above the Samsung 930 in the ps5. Pretty expensive but you get what you pay for. I’ll definitely be buying another one for my second PS five that my daughter has.
