A: You have an expansion slot under the shell of the PS5 which it ADDS to the EXISTING storage, you can use it for PS5 games and it’ll act like internal storage. It’s easy to install and this is an excellent drive for that. So if you have a 1TB PS5 if you buy a 1TB SSD you’ll have a TOTAL of 2TB.

Q: Will this still work in a pc?
A: Yes it will work in a pc. Although this memory has met all PlayStation requirements.

A: It was all I needed. Took it out of the box and plugged it right into my PS5
Q: Can you schedule an appointment to have this item installed by Geek Squad after purchase?
A: You don’t really need help installing it. It is incredibly easy to install and there are plenty of YouTube videos that show how quick and easy it is to get it all set up.
A: 6,500 MB/s seems to be average for this SSD. It is quicker than the Samsung 7,000 MB/s SSD so there is no issues with the drive.
Q: How does this connect to my ps5? Is there an adapter or something?
A: Google internal memory install. There’s a great video. You remove on screw on the bottom of the unit. Then there’s a screw yon remove to hold this unit down. It snaps in place and you put the screw in to hold it down then put the cover back in place. It is truly plug and play and incredibly simple. Took me about 10 minutes.
